But that's dumb and was signed in the midst of the crazy Reilly/Mitchell/Harris gougings. The market needs to correct - and mostly has - but we can't break it again with Zach. I agree that 450-500 is what we're looking at realistically, but it's a tough pill to swallow. Reilly/Ray/Mitchell put up some pretty spectacular seasons for under 500k when the cap wasn't really much different than it is now.

No QB should make more than 550 - and I don't want to pay Zach that. I don't think there's an arm in the league that actually warrents more than 450 right now - though I know Zach will make us go higher than that,

I remember thinking he got beat for two long passes in that game (one being the TD), but he had such tight coverage on both plays. Seemed a good'r right out of the gates.

There is certainly a range of outcomes that led to Harris staying in BC. The right mix of things happened at the right time.

He had me from his first off season interview. He was so transparent about his plans and how they worked out, or why they didn't. It really made me gave faith that he'd figure out a way to get it done.

Honestly, it's like looking at "big time" saves for a goalie. But if the goalie was in the proper position most of the time, he doesn't *need* to make the big time save. I don't understand why some people need to twist things to be a slight against us. Enough with the inferiority complex.
