My random, non-Winnipeg pick would be Marquay McDaniel. Dude lived in the middle of the field and had to fight through contact on every catch.

Quarterbacks B+: Zach plays a safe game that plays perfectly with our D and our 2019 ST (if only we had that now). But if he's an A, what would we grade a QB who's throwing for 300/3 TDs? There's room for improvement. Oline B: Generally, no complaints. Running game was very stagnant without Harris back there. Pre-season, I completely misjudged how much we would miss Harris. Thought JA and BO would be as, or more, effective. Completely wrong. Running backs B-: Andrew, is a B+(he is slow but so effective). BO had one good game then got stuffed vs. Toronto. JA has not been used. Receivers C+: Hard for me to judge the receiver too well. Lots of drops across the board. Demski has lifted the group, but wasn't available for most games. Punters D - Bottom third in yards and net yards, lots of shanks and just crappy kicks mixed in. I do think Legs will get better as the season progresses though. I was listening to the pre-game before the LDC and Tait and Irving were giving major props to Fajardo, talking about all he has accomplished and what hr had done so far this year...but Doug was adamant that he just didn't see it. He also admitted he could be biased against anything Riders, but damn if he didn't call it.

I appreciate his reporting but yeah....Don't think I'd enjoy (or that he's really capable of) play by play.

Obviously Nichols has now hit the end of the road.

That said, Lapo loves what Nichols does with his offence and brought him to Ottawa to continue doing it.

I'm just straight up confused by this. Why'd he leave in the first place? I know Jacksonville is struggling, but he seems to have done good work with the QBs. I feel like his job isn't in jeopardy.

It's not about ignoring anyone, it's just recognizing that not all prospects work out and we haven't seen it from Strev yet. I think Walters and Danny Mac and MOS know what they're talking about. Every player they bring in isn't capable of being an all star or even a starter. And as much as I respect Booch as a poster, his evaluations trend very optimistic.

I don't believe this. I don't think it's a good idea and I think it's the opposite of what Walters and MOS would do.
