  1. They had a list of potential OCs last year too. Got turned down by every one of them.
  2. In my ideal scenario; BC wins making our game mean something, so we play to win. But the game is an absolute beat down on the Elks, so the outcome is never in doubt.
  3. And Lawler is 1254 away from his 2k goal. Athletes be dumb sometimes.
  4. I don't think it's unreasonable to expect a receiver on the PR for the inevitable event when one of your starters misses time. BOLO is a Canadian, which puts him in a different category for roster management purposes. McCrea came on as an RB and is more of a Demski replacement if anything. We had Agudosi, but we did a swap for a new prospect meaning that we've put ourselves in this position of having no one available with any experience in our system. MOS talks about it (We wanted to have a look at other guys). And in a vacuum that's fair. You've seen all you need to see from Agudosi so you move onto the next prospect. Great. But he has been here for three years. And you don't bring in that next prospect until the week before you cut him? It just seems like another example of not planning ahead/not using your PR effectively for such an experienced and successful group.
  5. He has 4 weeks. So that's why we're not going to hear anything for those 4 weeks, because the hope is he'll be able to come back in some fashion at that point.
  6. I can't say the vibe matters at all without the winning aspect.
  7. Weird article. He claims that Scheon will miss at least the rest of the regular season - but also says there have been no updates.
  8. I think you're being obtuse or simply ignorant of the hockey world if you claim not to be aware of the expectations of the Jets 3-4 years ago.
  9. I think it's matter of expectations. After 2019, the Jets were expected to be regular Stanley Cup contenders; but instead, pretty much fell flat on their faces and became a bubble play-off team. Fair or not, they earned the perception of a team that wasn't trying.
  10. As a random fan, I wouldn't accept an interview request from 3down.
  11. Picking up tickets on the secondary market doesn't help attendance, tho. You're just picking up tix from season ticket holders who've already paid for their seats.
  12. That’s at least three games lost due to birth of children this year. C’mon guys. You gotta time these things better.
  13. I can't agree with a single one of these names except Habba; and he's had playing time.
  14. First, I do agree he should be on the roster. Second, he is not sitting at the expense of an older player (unless you feel he should be starting - which is crazy). He is sitting because MOS seems to value other positions more. Third, he hasn't really proved his abilities on the field. Any time he has started, he's mostly been a non-factor. We often talk about Bennett and Jackson getting on the field ahead of Haba, but really we should be benching a couple of our LBs and then MOS can roster whoever he likes.
  15. I would say there is more parity. I certainly wouldn't say the West is weaker. Winnipeg and BC have the same amount of wins as Toronto and Montreal. While playing against each other more times than Toronto has had to face the two other "good" teams. Sask has 6 wins, Hamilton has 8. Calgary has 5, Ottawa has 4. It seems more balanced than ever before. Though it's hard to say without a balanced schedule.
  16. He did in an interview I watched. I am not going to search through old interviews to find it. I do not find it weak. It was simply a statement of support for the team and our desire to keep as much of the core together in FA as possible.
  17. You show a simultaneous faith in organizations that have been absolute gong shows over multiple years and a lack of faith in our model of consistent success. It's odd.
  18. Toronto and BC can both go 16-2 next season. Who else is beating us so consistently that brings us down to 5 wins?
  19. Walters said before this season started that they deserved the chance to run it back. They are getting that chance. And despite what some say (And I've complained as much as anyone about certain things), they've had a great season. I'm sure next season, we'll see a few different moves.
  20. 1. We weren't talking about the Grey Cup, we were talking about the likelihood of this team regressing to 5 wins. 2. Anything can happen in the play-offs. Getting 15 wins and going to your third straight championship doesn't scream anything negative to me.
  21. And we have 12 wins so far.
  22. Is this an average of starting field position over the course of the game?
  23. I think everyone got equally stressed with MOS on the expiring contract; but then when it was time, he re-upped for 3 years. It is just how our operation works. Right now, there are more important things to do. When it is time, Kyle will sign his deal, which is probably already sitting on his "to-do" pile. I can't see anyone leaving before the Grey Cup year. At that point, everyone might stop and re-evaluate and make some decisions. But not now.
