  1. I can see that. The Jets started to make some small moves last year that caught my eye. Cheap seat nights, craft beer corner. The PLD trade and recent extensions are intriguing. I'm more invested pre-season than another other time over the past couple of years.
  2. The lower bowl still holds over 31k. The place is just too massive.
  3. I 100% agree with sitting Schoen if they felt it warranted. The man fights through all injury, but let's not lose him at this point of the year, please.
  4. I think it’ll be adjusted. But it’s not going away.
  5. He's a radio personality. It's literally his job (or was).
  6. 165k is the absolute max I could see (and that's if Brady wants to take us for all we're worth).
  7. Yeah, I didn’t see that as a late hit at all.
  8. Buck is underutilizing Brady, imo. We could have prevented a whole lot of hand-wringing mistakes from this game had we just fed him the ball and taken our god-given points.
  9. Zach’s looked ok except for the int. We have still been a second half team for much of the year. I think we’re ok.
  10. And if you’re going to immediately look for that shot, can you have a crossing route at a lower depth to retreat to when the primary is double covered??
  11. Because Rose **** the bed?
  12. Like Matthew just said, we’re gifting them yardage on a couple of penalties.
  13. Do Canadian universities have marching bands? I’ve never seen one.
  14. And that might be on the DLine. We don't seem to causing nearly the disruption in the backfield that we used to.
  15. Sheer adrenaline from all of the touchdowns we're going to score.
  16. And yet they're trotting out a hobbled AJ Ouellette who clearly needs to be on the training table. Both need to be thinking retirement. All good guys have moved on or died (RIP Shultzy), but we're left with the crappy old timers who just wont move on.
  17. I always imagine it as Ron Howard doing the Arrested Development narration.
  18. I think, at his best, he was making impactful plays. You could honestly tell me he hasn't played a game this year and I'd believe you.
  19. He does lead the league in interceptions, you know.
  20. Narrator: They could not.
  21. He has said that they try to make incremental changes so they're not forced to do it all at once. He also specifically stated that this group went 15-3 and deserved to "run it back". That said, there are any number of reasons why we may have to make more changes than normal next season. Some things are out of Walters' hands, after all.
  22. It's why we lost on Labour Day.
  23. You have to be realistic with what this staff will do though. Jeffcoat will not be a 3rd end. We won't even use a 3rd end to keep his reps down, much less start another guy over him. He is also the difference maker on this defence and will not be given less reps or money. It's been a conversation/negotiation to keep him here since 2019, so he may choose to move on though. DEs need some seasoning before they make the jump, so I'd expect Haba to make a bit more noise next season. I would be surprised (but pleased) to see one of Hammy's DLs join us next year. I like Dru Brown a lot, but I think he's going to get a starting opportunity next year.
  24. Sure, but I'll never see it because it's in Hamilton.
  25. Media just living in the narrative that the MOP is a QB award. The only problem I have with your analysis, wbbfan, is that this is about who's the most outstanding, and your looking at each player's worst outings. You should be looking at their best outings. It's an outstanding award, not a consistency award. Zach leads the league in TDs (30); has 6 games over 300 yards; 4 games with more than 3 TDs. Vernon leads the league in yardage; has 9 games over 300 yards; 2 games over 400; and 6 games with more than 3 TDs; he also adds 300 rushing yards. Brady leads the league in rushing yards, yards from scrimmage, and is tied with Dalton for total TDs. He has led the league in rushing in 7 different weeks (No other player has done so more than twice). Dalton leads the league in receiving yards, and is tied with Brady for total TDs Keon Hatcher leads the league (by a lot) in yards per game. In a tight race with Dalton for the yardage title. Betts leads the league in sacks (15). Which is good but doesn't really throw him into the MOP race. Houston still leads the league in INTs and FR, which could have been interesting had he continued to pick up the take aways. But he faded down the stretch and is now injured.
