Brady's gonna cost us a fortune next year (I'm sure he'll sign a reasonable deal with us and everything, but obviously needs a raise). With Schoen's new deal and Lawler getting a bump, it's going to take some slick deals by Walters to keep the group together.

I hate crap like this. Our O **** the bed all night long while our D held short fields to FGs all night long. But the last series of the night goes poorly when their gassed and it’s all on them?

Honestly, starting at centre field every drive. A couple first downs, FG, repeat.

We didn’t deserve to win.

The offensive game play seemed to be just chuck down the field on every play. Can’t believe that was all zach.

Not if our offence can’t make a ******* first down for an entire half. 0 passing yards in the first quarter. Can’t win with the this slow start ****.

An OC who runs an offence that Zach doesn’t like is how you get the Saskatchewan version of Zach.

That first half of the season with Zach, he was unstoppable.

I enjoyed early Jay and Dan when they were just being natural. When they got their own show and had to be “on” all the time, it just got corny.

This is the problem. For years they had Randorf, Shultz, Climie, Dunigan, et al. And they were professional and traditional “newscasters”. So when they broke a bit and cracked jokes with each other, it was rare and funny. Now instead of focusing on the game and allow it to occur naturally, they’re planning the bits and talking about the game as a secondary measure. And when they do, it’s all screaming over each other that no one can even hear. It’s not worth watching anymore.

The problem isn’t Kate. The schtick has been around for a few seasons and is terrible. They’re clearly being asked/encouraged to do it.

Me and a buddy were talking about BLM last night. He recalls an interview from the first couple of weeks of the season where an interviewer commented to BLM that a lot of people expected to see him in the booth this season. He responded simply and quickly that they, "don't pay enough". Maybe Hamilton has learned it's lesson. But as long as someone is willing (or obligated) to pay him his contract, he's gonna be suiting up.

This would be super funny to me because, over the past 10 years - when we were in our QB dead zone time - Collaros and Adams were the two guys I wanted the club to target. Zach spurned us for Hamilton but eventually made his way here. Not sure if we ever attempted to get Adams in here - he moved around so much you'd think we would have if we wanted him. But I would still find it funny if both guys I wanted as "up and comers" ended their careers here.
