The first thing this regime did was go out and spend on their OL. We were fortunate that Stanley was on the market. For them, it was Drew. If they do find a QB, they want to make sure the OL is stout in front of him.

You aren't getting Schoen money out of cutting Bailey. We keep saying that Bailey took less to be here. How much more is he making than his replacement, even if we slot in a rookie in his place? I certainly hope so. But people were flabbergasted when receivers started getting 200k. Floored when they hit 300k. But now we're going to afford 2 guys in that range? While paying Zach?

I don't think he got quite the offers he was expecting, so ultimately decided to stay rather than take slightly more to leave. I also thing there's interna; pressure for some of these guys to keep this together while we're in our championship window. Guys putting off retirement/leaving for more money/opportunity. I don't see how we keep the receiving core together with Kenny getting more money and Schoen deserving a massive raise. I think Zach gets more too. Something's gotta give.

Some you see that and think we wanted him back, I see that and think that we didn't really want him back Bombers definitely hoped Andrew would just retire and they could let him walk off into the sunset with nothing but happy feelings. I'd imagine it's more a function of, if someone makes the TSN production crew aware of a families presence and seat #. But by all means, keep on the tin foil hat if you enjoying hating on certain players.

This was always going to be the path. He's not going to be given a spot after a few weeks of practice over guys that coaches have been with or scouted for years. Whether he's on the Jags PR or another team picks him up as a #3 (I bet he would choose to stay with the Jags if that's how it works), this was always going to be how he latched on and started the process of working his way up.

Feels pretty routine in the CFL. The guys who are good stick around.
