    I would say it was the expectation for any player up until very recently. Even today, you heard crap that Lamar Jackson should have been starting for the Ravens this year and that he was using the injury to negotiate his contract.

    Totally fair. Walter has spoken about moving on from 1-2 guys each year so you don't have to replace the whole core at once. We're actually pretty good across most position groups!

    I didn't realize you were talking about Micah. I'm pretty ambivalent towards him.

    They're aware, but they were also 15-3 last season and deserved to run it back.

    I think Bailey wants a bigger role than being used as a run blocker. Obviously we want him back, but at best he’s the 4th or 5th option in our offence.

    I don't think that's in the cards unless he gets zero interest league wide.

    Well, restructuring it as they go is going too far, lol. But I still think he’s not going anywhere. I think he is trying to get paid full value and wants to have some official offers from other teams to help his bargaining position. Walters will get it done.

    I’m sure he’s just waiting for the tampering window so he gets an official offer that he can take to Walters and say, you need to be within X amount of this.

    Agreed. They're paying for potential, sure. You're banking on him continuing his progression. But he's locked in at a known rate and they got a budding star.

    I don't think I really expected MBT to move on, so doesn't move the needle for me much. Really just Harris and Evans left for "starters" for Sask and Montreal to sign.
