  1. Yeah, hopefully it's an exciting game.
  2. Yes, it’s a complete waste of time to try and count seats on Ticketmaster.
  3. Amazing. Can't think of a single reason not to do this.
  4. I'm right there with you, but I understand that what he's getting at. It's also the only thing I've seen this week - I expected much more of a marketing blitz.
  5. Three more years! Three more years!
  6. Simply one of my favourite quotes of all time. I want to vomit every time someone repeats Einstein's definition of insanity, but never tire of hearing Big Mike.
  7. They were all year long, why should it have changed in the cup game?
  8. I loved Swaggerville - that summer was, for me, the most fun I've had as a Bomber fan my entire life. It was college years and that was just pure enjoyment. Jovon Johnson and Jonathon Hefney are two of my all time favourite players. And I was very upset when we let O'Dell get away. This team is obviously expected to act/represent themselves in a different way. But, though they say all the right things and go about things professionally no matter what, you could see in the BC games that they (and especially Zach) come out a little bigger, stronger, faster. They know what's been said about Rourke and BC and they want to shut them down a little harder than other teams.
  9. You guys all sound like crotchety old men and/or spoiled kids. I have zero idea what the problem is. Rourke is the new shiny thing, it's awesome to have more talent in the league. We have the best team in the league - we're in the middle of the best of times. My only problem with the Kid Canada moniker is the total lack of originality - he got jobbed out of a cool nickname because he's Canadian.
  10. Nathan Rourke is good and the BC Lions are good. The Winnipeg Blue Bombers are great and have not been tested by the Lions this year. Maybe next year, but they’re not on our level just yet.
  11. Before I was born, don’t know what happened, doesn’t count.
  12. Just making fun of everyone’s pregame predictions.
  13. This is what an “unstoppable running game” gets you. 6 points.
  14. The head of the panel is never a football person, but a media personality to facilitate the discussion.
  15. Other than his Hammy bias (who I am admittedly biased against), it's a pretty solid/funny list.
  16. The event ends more than 90 minutes before pregame. Again, All they really had to do is assure the event leaders that very early Bomber fans would be temporarily diverted from one area (wherever their event parking was). I don't know what else could even be needed. But honestly, who knows what was said between the two sides.
  17. I've said this for weeks, let them run. If they can't stop our passing game, whoever it is will just be spinning their wheels.
  18. There is obviously an exit out of the stadium. And, again, the event ends before the Bomber game starts. I think all you really had to do was prioritize the parking away from one area for any super early arrivals who plan to tailgate.
  19. I don’t think anyone expected them to move the game, but making sure a lot was open - instructing the parking officials that another event was ending and there needed to be an available exit. The event is ending before the game - they likely didn’t need to do much, just offer assurances that there would be unobstructed exits.
  20. I don't know how much competition the league can reasonably drum up. TSN has been a loyal partner. But there has to be some way to get them to market the league better. They have the ability to increase the league's marketability and make it more profitable for everyone.
  21. It was the only available date. There are some mitigating measures that could have been taken. On the other side - these are the kinds of conflicts that were going to occur when building on a university campus. The Bombers don't own/control the university and could have been better partners in this situation, imo. Like it said in the article, everyone supports diversity/inclusion until it inconveniences them - then it's fend for yourself.
  22. I understand mixing it in, lots of country fans out there. But we just had Keith Urban in 2019, maybe try something else this time around? Probably not surprising given that it's Saskatchewan though - gotta force feed us country when it's in the West,
  23. Oh, that sucks. I wish they could have tried to do more for them. Separate parking passes, etc. Looks like they'll be on their way out when most fans start coming in - probably could have figured something out.
  24. I always expected it in ‘25, so I’m nonplussed. Sets up out record breaking 6th consecutive Grey Cup to occur at home.
