  1. Because he’s 24 and has been drilled with a team-first mantra his whole life. Because he’s a competitor and hasn’t differentiated the game from the business yet.
  2. I am legit disappointed I didn't get to see him live this year (I'm not going tonight). In a world where he stayed healthy, and tonight's game was to decide first place, that would be a rocking stadium.
  3. I imagine those of you who know what any of those things are aren't throwing anyone out the window without severely injuring your backs, knees, hips....
  4. It has been mentioned. It's either been dismissed or held up as confirmation by either side already. This where the ambiguity exists. And if Naylor doesn't know the answer, then neither do we.
  5. Up until this post, I wanted to defend you. But it is ambiguous, we don't have precedent to go off of, and if you continue to say it is as black and white as you previously claimed, you absolutely are muddying the waters.
  6. The only real obstacles are internal. There isn't another team that beats us if we do our job.
  7. The Rourke attention is fully justified. People are just butt hurt because we want all the attention on us. Rourke could be exactly the kind of superstar this league needs at the exact position the league needs more talent at. But even though Rourke has that potential, we are the better team - as we’ve already proven.
  8. I think there’s enough ambiguity that we can’t know for certain until it’s confirmed from the league. we may never get confirmation if he’s released and headed south though.
  9. Not a ton of depth in a lot of of positional groups. More guys than I thought will be playing all game.
  10. Dave Dickenson collapsing on the sidelines for his final start in Calgary...
  11. 3 return TDs. That's an automatic nomination, imo. If the definition is "most outstanding", I don't see how Legs qualifies.
  12. You don’t think Brown will play more than Collaros?
  13. I absolutely take them lightly, but for some people to pretend they’re not a good team in relation to the rest of the league is a little silly.
  14. I guess it depends on your perspective. Both organizations placed their players in dangerous situations. The stakes are just higher in BC's case and they stand to do a lot more damage to the player and themselves.
  15. I wish nothing but the best for Rourke - he will hopefully be the face of the league for the next 15 years. That said - it’s not his time yet.
  16. I also only became a fan around 2002/3 or so. But I went to every game in 1998. I was one of the kids literally handing out free t-shirts to everyone who came to the game - we were given free seats to do it.
  17. Not during some of the lean years - plastered with give away's or $5 seats. The club has definitely struggled mightily at various times in our history.
  18. Like bearpants said, we need him in sync and if he can't get through this week, he probably shouldn't be in the WF.
  19. That said, we don't really know either way because he's never stayed long enough to test it out.
  20. I disagree completely. 1) If he's healthy, you play him. period. 2) I'd rather not play someone in the play-offs who hasn't taken a snap in 10 weeks (or longer). You shake the rust off in a meaningless game so you don't have miscues when it does matter.
  21. If you keep looking at AirBnB, stuff pops up. But it goes fast so you gotta jump at the ones that aren't crazy pricey.
