  1. I recognize that I personally need some time and space before I feel the same way about Andrew as I did - but I know these feelings will pass and I’m just gonna remember what he did for the organization as opposed to how he left it. Absolute dog **** way to end a career - but for a guy like Andrew, I doubt he was gonna leave the game before he was forced to. Wish him the best.
  2. And as you have been told, pretty much everyone thinks the second half will be easier.
  3. I don't believe this for a second. Gonna be a battle for top spot, imo.
  4. But again, that's not the opponent, that's due to other factors Tburg is arguing as irrelevant.
  5. Do you place no value on playing for 10 straight weeks, mostly on the road, sometimes on short rest and practicing once per week? Because if you're just looking at the opponents in a vacuum, you're missing quite a bit of the equation. EDIT: Also, looking at the schedule, what’s harder about the second half? We played Cal twice and BC once. Now we play BC twice and Cal once.
  6. It would be an absolute shock if he didn’t win both awards.
  7. Then that’s the tier they’re in. Good enough to walk over the **** teams but not good enough to compete.
  8. Within the first half of the 2nd.
  9. I don’t think you can say Agudosi has proved anything. He’s played in one game. I have doubts we ever see him again, tbh.
  10. And Zach with the Riders wasn’t - and would never be - the Zach we’ve gotten with the Bombers. I don’t really consider it a miss by them at all - but no doubt one of the biggest gains this organization has even made.
  11. I’ll def check it out!
  12. It’s fair to point out disputed catches on film though. Many of his big plays are thrown to wide open receivers. He needs to show he can squeeze it into a window if he wants a shot. NFL DBs gonna get on him real fast.
  13. What’s that called, I hadn’t heard about it?
  14. It’s our team awards at the halfway point. How is this a jinx? Offensive MVP: Collaros Defensive MVP: Bighill Top Canadian: Thomas Top rookie: Schoen Top O-lineman: Big Stan Top Special Teams: Grant
  15. It doesn’t make any difference if they win every game or lose every game - it’s just entertainment. But we’re obviously interested and invested in this game so it would nice to be informed about things that affect the game - like how long Ellingson is going to be out and how he got injured.
  16. Age isn't THAT on his side. He's going to turn 26 in October. Which means he'd turn 27 if he stayed next season and be starting the NFL shortly before his 28th birthday. If his goal is the NFL (it is) - he is vastly better off taking any opportunities after this season. Not to mention it doesn't prevent him from trying again if it doesn't work out the first time.
  17. Have you heard his interview with Tait and Cameron on their 'Handled Internally" podcast? He worked his way up from a walk-on and has stated the NFL as "the dream". From hearing him talk about it, I would think that he'd have the belief in himself to work his way onto a team from the PR, if he got the opportunity.
  18. Option window is back, sir. We may not get the 2 years.
  19. On big Stan: It’s not a debate - he’s still elite and getting paid appropriately but reasonably. Unless he tried to stay after his play dropped off, there’s not going to be a reason to move on from him. On his replacement: Going year to year is fine - but obviously doesn’t let us train his replacement in-house. But like others have said, the most likely replacement is probably on another team and we lure them away after his retirement. On when that tragic day comes: Im sure Stanley considers retirement each off-season at this point. We have an amazing thing going on right now and I think that our older vets probably talk about this as a group. To keep it going as long as they can. I think that once one decides to retire or there’s a drop off, we might see a domino effect of retirements. On Wally: Wally was certainly cut-throat, but obviously isn’t perfect on his decisions. I am less certain that he thought Harris was done than he simply didn’t want to make him the highest paid RB while committing to national at the position. It was the perfect thing for us to do at the time, though.
  20. My thing with jerseys is to only buy players that I’ve seen play. My first was a Charlie Roberts with the 75 anniversary patch. Love that jersey. I think I’m up to 7 total.
  21. I bought a home Collaros this year. And then I won a jersey contest on Twitter and chose the away Bighill:
  22. I was convinced Zach should have retired before even signing with the Riders. What he’s done has been spectacular.
  23. It's what I thought we'd be seeing out of him all year. Absolutely fabulous to see it come through in the biggest game of the year (so far).
  24. Sask definitely low balled him.
