What the actual **** was with all of the screen plays? Why is Zach even listening to Buck if that’s what’s being called in?
-
I do trust them and obviously don’t think they’re idiots. But the Pats cutting or keeping Drew is out of our control, BA’s health is out of our control, Chris Streveler choosing to return to the CFL is out of our control, etc. I have faith that they’ll make good decisions when presented options, but we can’t force certain things to be available to us

Yes and no. Yes they’re aware, but a lot of the aspects of “fixing it” are out of our control.

Injury Report, Lineup Changes, Roster Moves

Lol. Andrew Harris is an all-time great. He’s going to be better at 45 than 80% of the jokers that come through here most years. -
Toronto was horrible. They consistently gave us the ball. Over and over and over. We should have had 40+ points tonight. The fact that we couldn’t score and they were able to cobble together that come back is embarrassing.

An ongoing issue.

OL has been a factor. but looks at Brady’s first run of the game. It was second down, we had a few yards to go, he gets the the outside, and he gets shut down after a yard. if Brady isn’t a power guy that’s going to fall forward and get those couple extra yards, what is he?
-
But they do have Lucky
-
They’ve looked their best this season at times, but still need to see more. we should be using the run game more and Zach shouldn’t be dropping balls in double coverage. there’s also still too many downs where the OL is letting guys come right through.

Injury Report, Lineup Changes, Roster Moves

His punting has made me think that if we can be patient, he’s going to be really good for us. Doesnt stop me from being nervous on every field goal attempt. -
Solidifying the OL is the biggest need, imo. Does that mean letting Gray grow into the role? Going 3 imp? Hoping for Drew? I don’t know. But it’s the single biggest issue. Related is our run game. I don’t think we’ve done the best job scheming, blocking, or running, so it’s difficult to pinpoint how to improve the run game as a whole. Losing Demski is a huge hit because I think the simplest cure was to get him more involved in more ways and that’s been taken from us. Pass rush is next need, for sure. But yeah, not much to do about that. Can’t see us adding anyone impactful. Just need the Jeff’s to bring it.
-
Not our biggest need, but I get what you're saying. He was awesome.

Exactly. This is what we need. We have some positions that were unsettled, and we needed guys to take those roles. Houston just did that. Hopefully something else happens along the OL and BA comes back at in his previous form. -
13 hour drive to Chicago... ...Although I did it once only to discover that I don't like deep dish pizza.
-
Honestly, can't we enjoy watching good players? Do we want the games to be crappy?
-
Man, Cauz really has nothing of value to write.
-
Not sure we will. We struggled getting pressure on Masoli. We might need the secondary to bait Rourke into some mistakes.
-
Fair enough
-
Collaros did not throw a pass in week one. Cody had the whole game.
-
I will give you that he racked up yards in weeks 2 and 3. But he also threw for 66 yards in week one and 89 yards in week four. The Riders went 1-3 to start that year.
-
In CF's best season (only season where he has success) - he threw 18 TDs. Rourke currently has 7.....in two games. Show me when CF put up similar numbers to Rourke.
-
For sure, I just think it's too early to view any team as an easy out right now. We don't realy have a firm idea of who teams are. You also have Hammy higher than I would.
-
I don't get how it would be a "trap game". We haven't been world beaters and I don't think anyone looks at Toronto as a bottom-feeder at this point.
-
I hope he is for the league's sake; but damn, wish we could find the young phenom one day.
