  1. Really liked him. Need guys like him to win.
  2. I think the QBs that are already up there are the only QBs really worth the title (Ploen, Jacobs, Brock). For RBs, they have Fritz, James, and Lewis - I'd really like to see Charlie up there sooner than later. Stegall is the only WR (and the only one I've personally seen who should be up there) - So I'll defer to TrueBlue and his JPop and Murph suggestions I'm going to be lost on OL - I've def heard of Rigney.....someone tell me some names other than Walby. DL - there's Gray and Brown - Mikawos stands out to me in terms of longevity....obviously didn't him play.. LB - Jones and Battle need to be in yesterday.....probably my highest priority. CB - Gotta think Hill will be the first DB up there Those are 8 name with Charlie, Jones, and Battle being my personally top 3.
  3. So, I wasn't around at that time...and I know he came in and busted the drought so you guys must think the world of him, but only 4 seasons as a Bomber...obviously not near the top of any career passing records... Can that really be considered "Ring of Honour" worthy?
  4. Put some respect on his name. Donny Oramasionwu
  5. It's hard to hear that he wanted to be back (I mean, obviously he did - but it still sucks to hear it), but they're giving him a raise on what we've been him for decreased production? I can see why our camps weren't able to come to an agreement.
  6. I can see the initial contract having those limits, but in subsequent deals they should be eligible for a raise.
  7. Walters said he is cautiously optimistic that he's going to return... He didn't get into why Grant wouldn't come back, but I guess there's no point in Walters getting involved unless he comes to the table. I see two scenarios: A. Grant is weighing an "after football" plan B. Walters gave him a "best and final" offer and Grant is deciding on if he takes it.
  8. I like it because it's classic. I really respect when franchises can maintain a simple logo, rather than continually changing it. It's a sign of success. However, I loved the antlers. It was unique look that perfectly fitted the new brand and was something different than the typical letter/image on the side.
  9. Games without rules aren't much fun either. My vote for #33 would be Mike Sellers - find that pic of him carrying the entire Rider team for a first down.
  10. Meh, you do you, man. Like you say, it's a discussion board and just something that someone threw up as an idea.
  11. How often is one supposed to change hot tub water?
  12. JCon suggested that no Bomber "Currently" playing for another team should be brought forward - so Harris would indeed be out while Brock would be fine. I like the idea, personally. As a fan in their mid-30's, it's Walls for me.
  13. I vote Gavin Walls for tomorrow.
  14. I think we've trended towards picking guys that are a year or two out, because we've had so many bodies. It'll be interesting to see if we continue that or if we draft a guy who we expect in camp this season.
  15. Same thing that happens to guys who can't cut it in the AHL.
  16. The NCAA has them at least that long, and often as long as 23/24.
  17. 15 years without a single attempt to do anything about it speaks volumes to me...
  18. I gotta side with GCn20 on this one… the quote you posted kind of proves what he’s telling you…
  19. Proves how unprepared the USFL is, to not have these things checked out before they register players for their draft.
  20. I don't know if I buy this. They could easily do it if they wanted to.
  21. I've heard some clips of his broadcasts and you can tell he's prepared and has the skill to do the job. As a radio voice, he doesn't have the gravitas of Bob Irving, but maybe he stays for a generation and our kids are talking about him the way we do of Bob.
  22. They seem mostly congradulatory, but even before this, there was mixed reviews about his PxP, so I'lll have to wait and see which camp I fall into. Just going to be weird not hearing Bob.
  23. I've come to care very little about the #2 QB role. I love a young guy there so I can dream, but it seems to quickly turn into a nightmare when I see them play. Prukop seems the best possible option under the circumstances and I feel like he could manage a game if our D takes over. But whoever is #2, it's still Collaros or bust.
