Yes we finally won after Warren Moon left Edmonton for the NFL.

I was 14 in 1984 and had season tickets with my Dad that year. They had a dominant defense in those years. Great linebackers. Top notch db's. Last years defense was nothing like Ive ever seen. Shut down everyone. By the third quarter it looked like the opposing offense had already quit. The body language showed they believed they had no chance.

So is it the coaching at the minor football level that needs to improve? If that's the case is there the money available to provide the training? Other countries have closed the gap in the hockey talent level. How was that accomplished?

CFLPA will resist that. Think most of the player reps are Canadian. Keeps their salaries high.

Adams dropped too many passes and disappeared for games on end. Think the money could be used on someone with more upside. Bombers must see something in McKnight. He was put in last year over Naaman Roosevelt when we had injuries/suspensions.

Could structure the contract so that there is a bonus based on number of snaps played.

All sounds like positives from an Ottawa perspective.
