We also had the players on both sides of the ball to make a difference. Solid receivers, solid RB's, and a decent secondary. That run and hit from Reed at 1:08. KAPOW Kinda how I envision rider fangirls getting their teeth popped out.

I've seen riders jerseys in Cuba, but also they're worn by the most grungy looking tourists (except for one nice guy I met who basically wore it the day we met then never again.... he was also cool because he made fun of us for picking up Darian Darant.... he saw he was a useless *** and I agreed) Riders jersey's on vacation are basically a backup plan for lost luggage. Or going naked.

You know why you have fans across the country? Because the smart ones are bright enough to get the hell out of that craphole of a province called Saskatchewan. Lord knows if I lived there I probably would have shot myself by now, or moved to Saudi Arabia if I had no other options. You basically have potash, farmland, ladies with 3 teeth at most, and a football team. Not much else. So it's obvious why Saskatchewan folk who get scattered cheer for the football team --- the rest aren't much to cry home about.

Another thing that MTS centre has going for it... big dollar naming rights, plus a huge piece of the VLT revenue. Bombers can fund the rainy day fund / ongoing repairs by not having to pay the mortgage. Like most cities the government can help fund the construction of the stadium and gets a signficant return over time for spinoff spending. Taxes on payroll, construction, consumption (food, liquor), the list goes on. It's not just about a building, it's about all of the spinoff related to it. Every game I go to, it's not just a game. It's a dinner before drinks, etc. Keeping people employed since the day I could walk.

Another must win game. Lets do this.

We need to go 4-2 or 5-1 to have a hope. We have a tough schedule. Hate to say it, but over the span of 4 weeks we went from believing we had a home playoff game... to starting to think about effing hockey. Seriously boys, fridays game is shape up or ship out. A loss friday and I think someone gets fired.

Two games this year that the team played with a relatively wide open playbook on both sides of the field. Montreal BC (at home) Both games we spread the field, used all receivers, used the run, used alot of play action and redirection... Most of the rest of the games the playbook has been tight. Nichols is obviously playing hurt. Leader or not the players like Streveler. Are we here to half ass or are we here to win?

Thanks for the votes of confidence. That said, the true tests for us are really coming up. We need to beat CGY, beat, EDM, beat SSK. If we don't and poop the bed I won't be saying much about us being so hot....

I hate the whole what if's... What if our d hadn't pooped the Bed against BC and we lost on the last play? What if our d hadn't pooped the Bed against Edmonton and we lost in the last minute? Yeah we would have been 7-1 instead of 5-3. Be happy that our D has turned things around and we have won 3 in a row. Things are looking up. NIcholls is bound to have some stinkers. He still helped us put points on the board. This is a team game, not an individual one.
