The O shat the bed big time. Anyone who doesn't believe that... hey I have an island to sell you... The D... shutdown BC in the first half. The second half had some good turnovers, but couldn't address issues in the secondary (as usual). Bunch of useless penalties and BC had opportunities to score. Don't blame the D fully for this one.... but we definitely don't have a D that's winning us games in the crunch....

Sorry, but don't say the O-Line was an exception. First half O-Line was brilliant. Second half O-line was getting manhandled. There were a few plays where I saw our RT literally get picked up and tossed. Nichols was scrambling alot and/or getting sacked and really that played into part of his 3 INT's. Harris played reasonably great. Most of the rest of the team pooped the bed in the 2nd half.

Drinking game for tonight. Everytime the bombers score... take a shot. Everytime the defense blows coverage ... take a shot. Everytime Rod Black says something stupid... take a shot. Regardless how things go, everyone will be sheeeeetfaced.

I think there's a few factors at play. 1) Fans are peeved at not sealing the deal. Too many losses in the cup or WSF is not a good thing. 2) Schedule change has alot of people away for June games. Calgary is very much a load up the trailer / camper / rv and hit the mountains or BC kind of city the minute May long hits. School ended for most on Wednesday and others yesterday... traffic on the roads is already lighter with people trying to get away early 3) Stampede --- alot of people try to get away until after Stampede is over. The city is a gong show for those 2 weeks and you either love it or hate it. 4) Less income to play with due to the downtown. Alot of industries took 10 to 20 % haircuts overnight back in 2015/2016 and are just starting to recover. Flames don't have an issue... season tickets have a waiting list and companies are still being them. You will see attendance pickup later in the summer and for the rivalry games.
