  1. When I went for the football game I did a hockey game as well
  2. Best game day experience I've had was surprisingly Ottawa. BC is my favorite stadium (Winnipeg second). Going to a game in Ottawa was actually a really fun experience though, I never thought I'd say that about Ottawa in any capacity
  3. You may be right but I'll never say anything nice about him. Even if 2007 wasn't his fault
  4. I started watching the bombers when Ritchie was coach. There's a long list of things I wanted to see but didn't A win in Regina in my 20s. It just didn't happen A grey cup. Got there after almost twenty years of watching. Online fans being happy with anything the team did. Winnipeg Heights, OB MBB, anywhere I've seen football talk it's as negative with 5:grey cup appearances in a row as when Mike Kelly or Jim Daley was coach. Online fans being happy with who is picked for coach and being right. Tim Burke says hi. The closest was being happy when we got O'Shea. Is he perfect, no. But the man changed the culture of a losing team not respected by the league. Then we started signing guys who said they came to Winnipeg because of O'Shea. The day will come when he's fired because that's just how it goes in sports, but even when that day comes show some damn appreciation for the turnaround of a team that was absolutely terrible top to bottom.b Swaggerville was fun. Roberts and sellers was fun. Khari to milt was great. But this right now is the only stretch in decades where the team is consistently in contention, when it's a surprise to lose rather than a surprise to win (unless you're booch, who is surprised 10-14 times per session). Guys like Danny Maccocia(sp?) and Chris Jones keep getting jobs. There's no excess of great coaches out there. I'd rather lose with O'Shea than win with a guy like Jones.
  5. Haven't been on much to see this and reply the ones that came to mind for me that I was referring to are when he was coming back early in the season and was #2 on the depth chart for a game. I don't remember what he said but I remember thinking I'd prefer if he had just kept quiet. Everybody knows he's the guy, and he's going to be the guy, but at that time no need to publicly question coaching decisions. Behind closed doors go for it, but no need to do it in the media.
  6. Some of his public comments last year indicated he's more of a me guy than a team guy. But that's probably just O'Shea's fault
  7. That's just budgeting though. I have a breakdown of where I expect my entire budget to go at work, but I still underspend in column B because I overspent in A all the time. If I hit the total budget nobody cares, but that doesn't mean I didn't start with an idea where the money was going. I'd say he's a terrible GM if he was black and white staying only within his positional budget. They job is field the best team for X dollars, not allocate x dollars perfectly. Not saying you're wrong, but I think it's crazy if he's that black and white about it.
  8. You sound like a Montreal Canadiens can who says every French player is going to sign in Montreal in free agency, and then they never do
  9. Once you're old and crotchety, you only focus on the negatives. Whether it be the D or three head coach or something else. So the D was bad because we ignore the secondary because we can't complain about it.
  10. I like his rule about the bombers playing in every grey cup game
  11. Mike Kelly might be available
  12. You feel we win in spite of O'Shea, I feel we won in spite of lapo. We all have our opinions
  13. I personally didn't like him as a coordinator either. Am I necessarily correct that he's bad at it, not at all. Just saying if he were to come back as a coach I'm about as happy as booch is when Jake Thomas is in the starting lineup
  14. The only way I'd ever be ok with lapo back is if he was breaking down tape and helping scheme and gameplan, but within the system of whoever the OC is. Don't want his system, don't want him being the guy to call the game, but I can't deny he understands the game, but I think his strength is more breaking it down after the fact than reacting to it in the moment
  15. We're kingmakers. We knighted sir Cody Fajardo, now it's time for sir Nick Arbuckle
  16. Loose ball interference, first down Argos
  17. Well that's something.....
  18. I know we're busy complaining about Buck but I'm more bothered by how many underneath crossing routes we're giving away.
  19. They were giving me time to get my grey cup chili on the stove and still make kickoff
  20. Once year contract extension per sack
  21. My initial interpretation of this was you slept in a van last night
  22. 4 per quarter, 2 at halftime. Make it 18 and it's a dare
  23. If anyone is watching their weight, feeling a little bulimic but need help with the puking this morning, then head on over to 3dn and read their award pick winners for the season. Don't say I didn't warn you because you will want to puke, and no I'm not even going to pick it so you can't blame me
  24. Just remembering what we had before O'Shea if the team ever listens to the voices online and fires him
  25. You didn't believe Mike Kelly or Jim Daley or Tim Burke could get these kind of results?
