  1. Yes Buck and Lapo could have that awkward conversation about what they were doing in Winnipeg 3 and a half years ago Buck didn't understand what LaPo wanted him to do the first time around so I doubt he would get it now. to be fair nobody understood the 3 yard pass play on 2nd and 10 all the time
  2. I support any job for Lapo that meets the following two criteria, although the first criteria is a must, second is just a preference 1) Not with the Bombers 2) Not with TSN
  3. if in doubt throw to 85 might not be as good of a strategy now as during his playing days
  4. x2, he felt impossible to catch. I'm satisfied with at least being on the leaderboard
  5. Dat would be the record completion percentage in 2005, Bob! That and his stupid ******* facial hair choices and his giant dumbo ears... he just looks like someone you'd want to punch right in the face. I don't agree with wanting to punch Jason Maas in the face, but I understand the sentiment. Every time I see Taylor Hall all I can think is he looks like someone who needs to be punched in the face.
  6. Hey if enjoying a forum is only seeing like minded opinions that's totally up to you.If we were all rah rah we could go 0-18 every year and just gather in a circle and sing praise be Blue!☺It has nothing to do with "rah-rah". It has to do with some people contributing nothing but whining about how bad the team is. I'm quite willing to except that this team has a lot of warts and if people want to discuss those warts intelligently, I'm all for it. If, on the other hand, people just want to ***** non stop in every thread they can, adding nothing of value to the conversations whatsoever, there's no intelligent discussion to be had so... off to the ignore list they go.Completely agree! But being a mod I get to witness the forum in all its unadulterated glory. But that is kinda the point ,good, bad ,unpopular really it's a forum, just opinions we are just slinging and seeing what sticks. But again if your bothered by opinions be it constant anything aren't you taking this forum a little too seriously? Just my opinion no harm meant Some people just don't offer anything of any value. Nothing to do with being serious or not. There are posters who put a negative slant to everything, so if the bombers sign someone, they overpaid because that's the only way to bring someone here. If we don't sign someone it's because we're cheap and won't pay. If the GM or coach does something right it's only because it was the horribly obvious option that couldn't be missed on. It gots on and on. Some posters just have no clue, and will show it by doing things like referencing cflcapgeek as a valid source of information Some posters will compare trash every move the bombers make, and wish we had made a move more like something the Stampeders do. Some posters are willing to engage in actual discussion. Some of them have excellent football knowledge and provide insight that isn't found behind the paywall of the free press. Some of them even disagree with each other, but can have a reasoned discussion. If I can ignore the ones who add nothing to focus on those that do, that's the choice I'll make. And I thank the many posters who do have something to contribute. I also have no issue with you stating your disagreement, it's not about if we agree or disagree, often it's about how we agree or disagree.
  7. Matthew Scianitti tweeted his awards ballot. Westerman is one of his two votes as All Star at DE. Sinopli isn't one of his all star wide receivers. Sinopli is his vote for outstanding Canadian, his rational is because he reinvented himself and "the WR is reliable. Period"
  8. I was to the point of not wanting to log on anymore. Then put 10 people onto ignore and the boards are readable again. Unfortunately ignore doesn't work in chat, so that's still unreadable, but the boards are much more readable now. I think ignore works in chat. Check your ignore preferences. In the preferences under chats I have it set to block, but whenever I got into chat I see messages from those on the ignore list. I've just stopped going to chat, other than during a bad loss I sometimes go in, breathe in the negativity and ignorance and remember that bomber fans like that don't really deserve a winning team, and it makes me a feel a little bit better,

  10. I'm with you, appreciate the facility for what it is. In the last 4 months I've been to the following CFL stadiums: BC Place in Vancouver McMahon stadium in Calgary Commonwealth in Edmonton TD Place in Ottawa It's been a year since I've been to IGF in Winnipeg As a taller person IGF is the best for legroom of any of the stadiums I've been to, and I've only been to training camp in it, but it is a very nice stadium. I'd say of the stadiums I've been to I'd put it 2nd to BC place, which despite very apathetic and quiet fans is a gorgeous stadium TD place in Ottawa was pretty nice as well, and nicest area to hang out in for drinks/food before the game of the stadiums I've been to I like commonwealth, but living in Edmonton I rarely go to a game because it's a pain in the ass to get there from where I live. It's not the best part of town, and the stadium is showing it's age a bit. McMahon shows it's age, easily bottom of the list of the stadiums I've been to, but had a good time in the parking lot before the game barbecuing and drinking with some stamps fans. Closest thing to a tailgate experience I've had. Haven't been to a game in regina, Hamilton, Toronto or montreal so can't comment on them. But based on the cities I've been to and with what I've heard of the stadiums in the other cities I would guess the top 3 stadiums in the CFL would be BC, Winnipeg, Ottawa, and there's a definite gap between Winnipeg and Ottawa. So be glad you have IGF.
  11. I would criticize. I'm not a season ticket holder. I have however had tickets to 4 of the 9 road games for the bombers this season, and just got back this week from 8 days out of town that took me through Vancouver and Ottawa for Bomber games. I'm thinking of making the BC trip for the bomber game a yearly trip.
  12. Aren't the banner ads based on your browsing history. I've traveled a lot recently, I'm seeing ads for rental cars and hotels. You look at womens underwear, you see $5 panty sale ads
  13. At the lions game last week they were offering a free jersey for every season ticket renewal, made me wonder the same thing at the time if it was a clearout for a new jersey style.
  14. . I'm just unsure how you even formed your opinion in the first place he saw it posted on cflcapgeek
  15. I'm flying in to Vancouver Saturday for the game, and headed to Ottawa for the game next Friday, so hoping they can put something together. Either way my hotel is stumbling distance from the stadium in both cities if it doesn't go well.
  16. Have to agree firing the OC and replacing him with a 2nd DC would be a waste of time and money What does a new DC got to do with the firing of Bellefeuille|? that was the point.... read what I quoted
  17. Have to agree firing the OC and replacing him with a 2nd DC would be a waste of time and money
  18. my first 4/4 as well, only because montreal had a bye. I sadly have yet to pick a montreal game correctly
  19. I'm going to the game in Vancouver and the game in Ottawa, so chalk those up as losses. I came to the sad realization earlier this year that I don't believe I've ever been in attendance for a bomber win in my life. 0-2 this year so far when I've gone.
  20. With multiple quotes or when you quote one person? I'm quoting you using Windows 10 on my PC. any quote, if I hit quote it takes me to the bottom, but the quoted text isn't there, but then if I scroll back up and hit quote again it works. All my other browsers work fine with windows 10, it's just the new Edge browser that doesn't play nice with it.
  21. Has anyone else tried the site with a Windows 10 pc? The quote system doesn't play nice with the Microsoft Edge browser for me.
  22. Bombers released Kashawn Fraser and added an OL cut from the bears, Cam Jefferson. http://www.bluebombers.com/article/bombers-add-ol-jefferson-to-pr WINNIPEG, MB., September 9, 2015 – The Winnipeg Blue Bombers announce today the club has added International offensive lineman Cam Jefferson to the practice roster. Jefferson (6-6, 305, Arkansas, May 2, 1992 in Las Vegas, Nevada) was a three year starter at UNLV, starting 33 games for the Rebels. In 2013, he was named a team captain and was an honorable mention All-Mountain West selection. He transferred to Arkansas for his final season, and played a variety of positions on the offensive line for the Razorbacks in his senior year. He was signed by the Chicago Bears as an undrafted free agent in May.
  23. Depends how you define anywhere near the cap. There's a 12% spread between the floor and the cap. Every team is forced to spend roughly the same amount of money. $600,000 between the min and max spend.
  24. That's what I saw... please stop with this garbage ISO, you've mentioned it 10 times, and every time it's pointed out it's horribly wrong. So going by that data we should hire Edmonton's GM, as Mike Reilly is the only guy on their team making over $100,000. We need that negotiator to get 90% of our team on league minimum contracts. BC doesn't pay any national player more than 71k. We get that you love everything Stampeders and hate everything Bombers, but at least try hate the Bombers for legitimate reasons. Hell according to that site Cornish is the only National player Calgary pays above league minimum. If anyone wants an excel file of all the data from that site pm me and I'll e-mail it to you so you can see for yourself how incomplete it is. It's basically their website but in excel. Now i'm looking at their sourcing for the sourced contracts. So Zach Anderson is listed at $51,000 and sourced. The source is an old cjob article saying he signed, but no reference to salary. So even when they say a contract is sourced it's a joke. You say the website is a joke? That is your opinion. Yes, I already acknowledged some of the contracts may be wrong but I think overall as a guide it may be somewhat accurate. What about it is accurate? If i filter on active players it comes up with 415. 359 of which make league minimum salary. So 87% of the league makes minimum salary?
  25. That's interesting, seen as how it didn't exist last year. Sorry, should have said month not year. My apologies.
