  1. Sure there are things to improve on, but it's a long weekend, the bombers won in Regina, the bombers have won multiple games in a row. I know people around here don't know how to do this, but try enjoy it. I'm on a 6am flight next Saturday for no other reason than to watch the Banjo Bowl in person, and whether it's by 3 or 30 I'll enjoy a Bomber win over the Riders.
  2. my favorite part of having Medlock is that there's so little worry when he goes back for a big kick. I can't remember the last time the bombers had a kicker where it wasn't gut wrenching to have to kick anything over 30 in a clutch situation. When Harris went down on the last play, I counted the game as won from that range before Medlock even kicked.
  3. It's how it works in the NHL as well. Chicago towards the end of this last season was looking at Panarin earning big bonus', and any amount that puts them over the current seasons cap is reduced from the following seasons cap, which in the NHL they have to be compliant with to start the next season. Like others, have no idea how this plays out in the CFL
  4. no, but they'll have your retirement paperwork ready to go
  5. not going to LDC but booked flights for the banjo bowl today. Got round trip to Winnipeg for $198 so couldn't pass it up
  6. I'm just glad Denmark is back. Bought a Denmark jersey end of last season
  7. I'm somewhat impressed the league even caught it
  8. due to the weather delay my pvr recording ended with 17 seconds on the clock, and my reaction was but i need to see how we blew this in the last 17 seconds.
  9. thanks for the clarification. I may have missed them talking about it, I got home an hour into the game was was skipping time between plays and all of half time, got caught up to the live feed by the 4th quarter.
  10. I know they changed it at one point to specify you could come back in if pushed out, but not if you went out on your own. I don't follow all the rule changes closely, so it's possible it was changed again
  11. on the topic of calls that may not be correct -and I haven't gone back to watch this again- early in the game, the fumble recovered by (I believe) Wild, should that not have been illegal participation? I thought he went out of bounds and came back in to recover it
  12. *edit* point was already mentioned but i missed it
  13. I don't think they would. They acquired his contract. So if he wants to play in the CFL it's for Sask, but they can't force him to play. I must say I enjoy this.
  14. back to back wins? I would like 1 win please. No need to be greedy
  15. Ottawa has a nice stadium, and great environment in the area before the game. Really enjoyed the game I went to there. Haven't bothered looking much at what the riders are doing so won't compare, but I liked the stadium in Ottawa.
  16. When I was watching the bombers lose in Calgary last year I heard nothing but positive things about Dickenson from fans there
  17. I've lived in a city with the Edmonton Oilers since 2009, and am a Bombers fan, I'm not familiar with what playoffs are.
  18. maybe we need to bring Glenn back to finish 2007 in 2017....
  19. also in the 0-4 club. Didn't expect winnipeg to win, but had to try
  20. As someone who is only in his early 30's, I have no real memories of the bombers being a dominant, or even consistently good team. Sure we had a brief glimpse of success in the days of Jones and Stegall. Losing games and looking terrible on offense is just my expectation. So the good of this is I get over the losses pretty quickly, as they're expected. The bad being even if we win a couple games it will be hard to enjoy as I'll know the wheels are still going to fall off after another few games. I didn't grow up watching or playing football, wasn't an option to play in a small town. In my teens the likes of Stegall and Brown got me interested and started watching. Then i hit my 20's. The bombers didn't win a labor day game in my 20's. Loss after loss after loss. Every year we bring in new players, every year people are optimistic for the new players. Every year regardless of what coaches/players/Gm we bring in, the team plays like the Bombers, which is a painful experience.
  21. that kick last night will cost him 1300. He's already donating more to charity than I do in a year, and he has 17 games left.
  22. I was considering going, after that depressing mess last night I think I'll be watching from my couch.
  23. This caught my interest. Went to register, draftkings registration unfortunately requires more effort than I'm willing to put in at this moment so I'll pass on it for now.
  24. Just to be a contrarian? Right now there's a gap from 1/2 to 3. The Jets have gone off the board a bit with other first rounders, but I can't see how they do it picking 2nd.
  25. 2009 - 17 games (1 game on PR, 17 started) 2010 - 4 games, cut in favor of prefontaine 2011 - 18 games 2012 - NFL 2013 - NFL 2014 - 18 games 2015 - 18 games Best I can tell he has missed 0 CFL games due to injury
