Ayeye ... This is going downhill quick. Stick a fork in Chapdeleine

Big fumble cause by Ian Wild. Time to hit pay dirt now
-
Argos should probably consider getting Wilder involved to calm him down. These are the games you can't let get away cuz Masoli's misfired a number of balls too.
-
Man, come on Franklin, don't start losing your accuracy now
-
Not a bad answer for Toronto Hopefully Tasker not being out there means the tabbies lose a beat or two
-
Good ******* Lord I hate when players won't just slide down after intercepting passes. That was Johnny Sears bad. Ridiculous to give Masoli a mulligan.

Love the Ricky Ray honorary ceremony

Well Edmonton also went into victory formation at the goal line, so I wouldn't look at that. But I agree that this obsessing with the margin of victory Edmonton had over BC is a little ridiculous. It could cut both ways, I mean if we had played Montreal this week and beat them by 21, would that make us 3x better than the Esks? Nope, that's not the way this game works. Edmonton saw how we exposed them in the final stretch last week and used it, plus BC had to be a bit psychologically down after losing a home opener. We matchup very differently against the Esks than the Lions do, and Lapolice is not going to use "Junky" Jairius's playbook.

Hence why I said that wasn't exactly the best argument to use. But I agree with Gotmilt that there's no reason to hate a guy who was always giving his best and made many big plays over the years he was here. Hope I don't jinx him, but I hope he picks off Masoli a couple times today.
-
Well umm, I'd say every player even Duron Carter is trying to do that. But I agree with the sentiment and hope Fogg plays well today.

I do have to wonder why he and Zontar brought it up just now ... Claybrooks has been doing this for years now and I never heard anyone say anything about it until this thread. Now ... I will say I do remember a game a couple years ago when Benevides had his hat flipped completely backwards. I can't lie ... I laughed cuz I thought it looked funny on him. But I didn't rant too much about it. And YES ... I would remind Mr. Noeller that Claybrooks is a head coach .... And he is NOT. Therefore ... He's in no position to judge.
-
You know I just realized something ... Is Marcel Bellefeuille still the WR's coach in BC? I get that he wouldn't call the plays, but perhaps Jairius Jackson is going to him for advice? I mean, what BC has done these last two games is eerily similar to what MB ran here. Now I do give it a 50/50 problem between Reilly and Jackson because this is Reilly's problem, he's an all or nothing QB. But these lack of draws/short passes/screens/whatever else needed to counteract pressure have MB written all over them. If JJ isn't currently listening to him, he sure looks like he attended his school.

Maybe us giving them some game film on BC's offense had something to do with that? Like I said, if your offense not only has a bit of raddy OL, but also no run game or any big physical backs in the backfield, and it becomes overly reliant on an old QB who seems to mostly care about pushing the ball down field every play, that's a recipe for disaster. Edmonton keyed in on it which is why BC had another atrocious 2nd half. Even though Lapolice can drive me crazy with his game plans sometimes, I really don't see him calling that kind of game. I expect him to keep Edmonton guessing as to whether or not Harris is getting the ball, and perhaps even call in the Streveler package a few times to get them off guard. I mean, they couldn't put the Als out until late in the 4th quarter with Vernon Adams, and I'm certain our team is better than that.

Well, I want Toronto to win this game, but I got a bad feeling it won't happen. A lot of ?s with the boatmen right now. I'm glad to see Franklin get another chance, but that clock is ticking on him to show the money and he won't get forever to do it. I must also say that Corey Chamblin is going to have to convince me today that he was the right hire because right now, I don't think so. That man was awful in SSK when Durant wasn't on the field ... Well ok, aside from a few LDC games, but those are always outliers. Bottom line is he fell very quick in just a couple years, and he's got a lot to prove for me to respect him as a coach. Any signs of going unstable again and the same problems that happened in Regina will happen in BMO too.

Gonna be a close hard fought one here for sure. I'm not taking the schmoes lightly at all because that would be foolish with the talent they got. But ... We're definitely in better shape than BC at the moment and they'd better think again if they plan to use the same game plan against us that they used against them. They knew BC had no run game so they just sent the house on Reilly most of the game. With A Harris and Lapo's draw plays or RPO plays, they won't be able to do that on us. Catch em off balance with those draws, get them to crash in on A Harris and we can use the play action Darvin or C Matthews deep ball on them, or even get mid route seams to Woltairesky to catch em off guard in space. And ... I think on defense Bighill might be able to bait T Harris into a few rushed throws or a few hangers for Hecht to make a play on. I know we aren't done this week but this game is already getting me anticipating already.
-
It must have happened when he got facemasked and yanked down by Dean (I think it was) on that one play. I wondered what had caused him to suddenly go whiffing. Montreal should have picked up Bryan Bennett before SSK did.
-
My thoughts exactly as I watched this game. BC's lack of a backfield and J Jackson's bad game plans to constantly drop Reilly back in the pocket had Edmonton pinning their ears back and coming after them. Our method of attack with a lot of draw plays mixed in it will not allow that. Not to mention I think our OL is better and Harris can punish defenders.
-
Just no balance in the attack, and it's on Jairius Jackson's head for not getting more balance. I just gotta think Mr Hervey has to realize his RB situation has to be fixed. How do you not call up Tim Flanders or Tre Mason?
-
Maybe the Lions should give Flanders a call. He's better than all their backs.
-
Claybrooks just hasn't figured out a 4 quarter game plan yet. Seems to be a 1 half coach (no pun intended)
-
Well, maybe Harris traveled forward and grew the grey beard and switched uniforms
-
Yes, but he's always been kind of a Brett Favre too. Try to go for the big play instead of throwing it away or taking a sack. He can sometimes make those off balance throws, but he'll also allow defenders to get a jump on them sometimes.
-
Well Reilly sorta single-handedly let this happen like he did when he threw it to Hecht last week.
-
Guessing you didn't pick Gable as the lock to get a TD?
-
Man, no wonder Ottawa let him go. Man's got no accuracy tonight. And he's had a clean pocket on some of them.
