Meantime ... Not that anyone cares but Hamilton is getting whooped. For all the knocks Nichols has gotten, it appears Masoli is a fake QB. Those 300 yard plus passing games appear to have been the product of Brandon Banks catching it short and getting yardage after.

Personally I ain't giving no damn about no cold weather. We got a team built just fine for it with our run game.

We need SSK to lose badly today so that they have no confidence going into the playoffs.

Well, we do not need SSK's help anymore, not with us now making the playoffs. I would however like to see BC knock em down and ensure they don't get to host the WSF. And .... If they win this and we win in Edmonton next week or they lose against CGY, my fantasy of kicking down the doors of Mosaic as well as owning the melonheads butts in the playoffs will come to reality.

Well you understand though now that this is why our coaches give him their full confidence because he has this kind of capability.

It's definitely a great feeling to get the third winning season in a row under Mike O'Shea. Btw he is the first Bomber head coach to do that since Ritchie from 2001-2003. A big accomplishment very much too. But I think at this point, we want to see this playoff clincher turned to a GC win. It's overdue.

We are aware of this, but he did lead a big 30 plus point comeback against them a couple years ago and only lost cuz they got lucky enough to see Parades make a crazy long FG. And had he played in last year's game in the season finale he would have won albeit against backup Buckley. Point in being though he hasn't exactly gotten to play them when they're in a bad streak and looks like he'll get to do that tonight. The stamps have been our kryptonite long before Nichols, but I think the trend is broken tonight. If not though ... I think I know who will be responsible and it won't be Nichols

This is true (despite making Hall look foolish), but it still speaks to the point about the Bombers being more balanced towards the run game.

Thing is we might already have the upgrade over Nichols in Streveler who showed to me he can make all the throws. The other thing I keep having to remind people of though is that we run the ball more than any other team so that run game will eat up a lot more into total passing yards.

I don't think that's quite what he meant. I think most know Nichols doesn't necessarily put up those 300 yard 4 TD games, but as long as he's seeing the field well and keeping the offense on track, we got enough balance with the run game to make those numbers work. Rather he just do his job than try to do too much. My not wanting the crossover is because as to that defense, I'll actually give Richie Hall credit for getting into Collaros's head with how he attacks SSK's offense. That is the one bright spot he has for this year. But he still stinks at scheming against Masoli and Harris, so yeah, gotta hope our offense scores 40 or more to beat those guys.

Well, how much must we pay the refs to allow the offensive line to get away with holding in this game? Lol jk. But one thing of note, Nichols has not yet beaten Calgary as a Bombers starter as he was resting up last year and noodle LeFevour was sucking out there. Now seems as good a time as any to change that. Calgary, as usual seems to be having the late season vacation again. Hopefully they will stay on it for this game so we can clinch the playoff spot. But on that note, I am not content to simply clinch a playoff spot. We need to get 3rd in the West and not a crossover. Our defense always stinks in Tim Hortons Field and TD Place, but if we go into Mosaic we will murder the Riders. We need to seal the deal and have the WSF as us vs Regina so we can murder them on their home turf and cause their fans to choke on melons during the game.

I'm just pissed we're out of the running to host the WSF. Having said that, I want to get third in the West and not the crossover so we can go into toilet Mosaic and put a big old hurt on them. They want a fight, we'll give em that.

Of all the nights that Calgary defense had to pick to go soft, they had to pick this one? Hope they're still in a funk when we play them next week
