  1. Someone trying to make MOS look bad maybe
  2. Well, guess we need a little help from the boatmen today. If they can pull this off I'll settle for that much since we won't get any help from MTL tonight. Hopefully MBT has some magic still left after last week.
  3. Well, he might get us a better defensive coordinator for one.
  4. I am a Nichols supporter and agree with what you're saying. I don't think we should move on from him at all because I believe he will get it right and Lapolice will get a rhythm going with the offense again. But I agree with the posters who say Streveler should have finished out the game in garbage time. Nichols took a few shots and after the last one I would have called it a night for him for his long term health sake. It was garbage time so it was the perfect time for Streveler to get more snaps under his belt.
  5. I was kinda thinking this myself. I do believe when the O'Shea years end he'll have brought this franchise to a much better place than where he found it, and I would certainly keep at least some of the cultural changes he and Walters have brought to it. But I'm starting to think the 12-6 record and getting to host the WSF is about the ceiling of what he can do. He'll have had 5 years after this season, and if he completes another he'll have been the longest tenured Bomber head coach since Cal (Dave Ritchie was 5 1/2 years). I think that's enough chances that any coach could ask for to win a cup. If he doesn't do it within another year, I think we gotta consider moving on. Question is would we reinstall Lapolice to that role and give him another crack at it now that Joe Mack is gone? Or do we gotta get an outsider to do it who might have a completely new way of doing things?
  6. I don't think his post negates this. Our own players have responsibilities, but these results are consistent with a bend and break defense. If Mike O'Shea does not eradicate this scheme and philosophy this offseason, then his job too should be in jeopardy.
  7. And he's also bailed Richie Hall's butt out more times than I can count over the last three years. Also, all you people obsessing over Nichols's numbers conveniently forget they also get skewed by his playing in a Harris-centric run heavy offense.
  8. Yes, against offenses either devoid of good QBs or playmakers. As soon as Hall's garbage scheme goes up against teams like this it gets exposed for the scam that it is. The offense gets no pass, but it's ridiculous to expect them to score 40 plus points week in and week out. Just ridiculous.
  9. Just stupid that we got two threads popped up right now talking about Nichols and Lapolice while this defense was a freaking dumpster fire all night long. That unit and its stupid coordinator are 100℅ responsible for this loss because while Nichols does need to pick his game up a little, if we gotta score 45 points consistently to beat teams like this, we're in big trouble. I'm going to put the blame for this loss right where it belongs.
  10. Should be an option in here for ****ing putrid cuz that's what it is. God what a dodo we got running this shitcake show. Ridiculous to allow him to finish his contract. He deserves to be publicly terminated after tonight.
  11. We could easily fix that by firing Richie Hall at the final gun of this game.
  12. Once again though forgetting the man responsible for this. Richie Hall still sucks and is proving his critics right again. He gets outschemed by good OC's like Elizando and can't stop teams when they got weapons like Sinopli and Spencer. He's responsible for us being down.
  13. Well to be fair, the stiffer your competition is, getting a win even if it's a close overtime win is just as satisfying as winning by double digits. Having said that, I certainly think we should beat Ottawa by 14 (at least).
  14. I'm more interested to see what kind of game Lapolice calls. I'm still a bit puzzled by what most seem to say was his being uberaggressive with the deep balls last week. And crazy too when the complaint is usually that he calls too many check down 7 yard passes when it's 2nd and 10. Gonna be interesting to hear what his usual detractors go off about tonight.
  15. I could see Edmonton picking him up. He's exactly the kind of player Maas gets.
  16. I predict Nichols to have a bounce back game with the offense turning the burner on and not looking back. Bombers 41 Redblacks 26
  17. This, he's got butterfingers and doesn't know how to run routes.
  18. If it has to take him 4 years to do it and be given marching orders by O'Shea on what to fix, then he's no good. Like I said before, it doesn't matter if we win the Grey Cup, I would fire him regardless.
  19. My opinion is what it is and will stay that way. I'm guessing you're related to him, but guess what? Idgaf
  20. This, every team except SSK (to our delight) has looked sharp against the Als, and it's not saying much when they gotta struggle all game up until the 4th quarter to do it. For the record, our offense never seems to look sharp against the Tabbies June Jones defense, but thank god they did just enough to save Richie Hall's butt this last game. Thus far Thorpe's defenses have looked fairly soft and I think Lapolice goes back to his usual short to midrange passing calls.
  21. Agreed, I mean other than fleecing Tillman on the Ricky Ray trade and winning one cup, what the hell has he done to warrant gettin another shot at GM? Also, he would probably keep Willy considering he brought him to Toronto and tried to make a go of him there.
  22. I believe the media was truly hoping after he failed his attempt to wow the NFL that he'd be able to come up here and impress by showing he was still serious about football and could put his ad-libbing skills to work in a way that was fun to watch. I'm not a Manziel hyper, but I had even hoped he could do something to make Montreal fun to watch and bring in new viewers to the league. As of now ... Well for sure any plan he ever had of trying to re-enter the NFL just went out the window. What he decides to do with an attempt at a future in this league is up to him, but I'm just guessing that he on his own probably won't hang around long at this rate.
  23. I'd say he has an arm but not a good release, or at least sometimes.
  24. Manziel hasn't thrown a pick yet at least.
  25. Seems like whenever he does that you guys start complaining that he's playing not to lose.
