Next Game vs Hamilton - Revenge Is In Order

1. Of course there is 2. You should ask yourself what you were doing asleep as Richie Hall choked away two playoff games. -
Next Game vs Hamilton - Revenge Is In Order

That may be, but it proves Richie Hall can't do anything without the offense bailing his butt out. Hopefully his defense does its job tonight and that won't have to be continued. -

Not necessarily, it's more that if a supposed 180 is done with performance, we don't want to get excited before the proof is in the pudding. If we beat Hamilton with our defense getting stingy and not needing our offense to bail em out with a shootout football game, we will all be optimistic about the direction of our defense. If we lose though or if we win a last year MTL 41-40 type game against them, that will keep the heat on all responsible parties. It's a week-by-week thing though, week-by-week. -

I'm a little curious as to how Hall might align his defense against speedy B. -
I don't think anyone will be going anywhere until the season is over just because that's how the Miller-Walters regime works. I see your point though. Thing is too, idk how much stock you can really put into the LDC since ... Well you could probably play that one 10x in a row and each time you could get a vastly different result. I would definitely pay close attention though to games against the big dogs coming after that week though to see if that awful defensive play we saw late last year rears it's ugly head around again. Like I said, we're really ultimately at the point for me where these winning seasons have to start translating into playoff wins. So far it's been Hall's fault that they haven't, and if we go one and done one more time, he'll be booted out guaranteed.
-
A bit early for this poll I think. I would have waited until after this next game against Ham to see if they were finally doing their job and not getting burned by Mr. Dumpoff Masoli, a QB who Hall has seemed to have a faulty plan for stopping. Even there though, he should get no pass until his defense shows they'll stop choking away playoff games. Until I see that, he will continue to be a liability here.

Als About To Drop Willy & Matthews? Manziel Now An Al

Him and Andrew Wettenhall would butt heads so hard they'd need to wear crash helmets in meetings -

The QB carousel swinging around full force will be the story of the rest of the Als' season. -

Well, at some point O'Shea certainly had to realize that was a waste of his talents and put a stop to it. This is probably what he meant by saying he would be more involved in the defense. Not that he would take it over but that he would start changing roles when necessary. Now ... Tough to say where our defense is coming off the Toronto series because Franklin got demoted this last week. The way I see it, we should be able to pound Masoli into submission if Ottawa's Noel Thorpe defense can do it. But as I said, that means no more of that silly 15-yard cushion nonsense. They also got Alex Green back and Chris Williams added to the mix so could get interesting. -

I think he's too stubborn to learn personally, but that's just me. Having said that I think with Nichols back this game and the way our offense has been on a tear at home and those turnovers to boot, we might be able to set the momentum if we hit em with a big early lead which should be enough to cover up Hall's bad play calls. -
Well, I gotta think our guys are hungry and ready to put the Tabbies back in their place as inferior to us. Nonetheless overconfidence must be guarded against. I like what our offense was doing the last game scheming to get Demski open. Kenbrell Thompkins must also be promoted full-time to the starting roster for his hard work. He's done what we had hoped Bowman would do. TiCats facing Nichols this time who is ready to light them up. On defense, Richie Hall must not call that stupid prevent defense again after how Masoli kept exploiting it with dump offs. Mix up 1-man blitzes a little more and use spy coverage as well.

Yeah TSN had said they sold them out. Unfortunately for Als fans, they bought Wettenhall and Reed's scam completely.
-
This is why I said once that Andrew Wettenhall is as bad as Bernie Glieberman and should be voted off the CFL Board of Governors and forced to sell MTL.
-
Oh we were bad no question about it, but we didn't go handing over years worth's of draft picks to buy a QB who had never played a down of CFL football. A total display of mental illness by all management people in MTL.
-
I mean, I'm not saying take Hammy lightly, but let's not forget we hung up 54 on MTL and did it without being gifted 4 picks from a raw CFL QB. And last time we played Ham, we were going with a rookie. I also am loving what I'm seeing out of Demski, Dressler and he'll I think Kenbrell should be given a permanent spot on this roster after how he played last week.
-
Aside from potentially Richie Hall calling bad plays against them, I highly doubt we'll have that much trouble against them. They'll get reminded quickly that we're not the sad sack Als.
-
Oh Lord no, that young man deserves way better than having to go play for this circus on steroids.
-
The thing is though ... The Als should have known what they were getting with him. 1. For better or for worse, he always will throw the ball in the field of play and never throw it away, EVER. He never did so in college, the NFL and won't start doing it here so Suitor should not be shocked by this. 2. His style of play just does not work in the NFL with all those ball Hawking DBs, and it should be no surprise the same results have followed him here. Having said that though, his teammates showed little effort or concern for winning, and this is what Montreal's ownership has done. Breed a culture of laziness and apathy in its walls.
-
Could be a repeat today .... Only with the numbers flipped.
-
I don't think that's enough. I say the CFL's board of governors should force Andrew Wettenhall to sell that team immediately. This is all his fault the Als are bad.
-
Well ... That's what Reed traded for. SMH, ohh jeez, I wonder how many people are lining up asking for refunds in the Als pro shop? All that money they paid for jerseys

I had a brain fart earlier lol. A little surprised Campbell demoted Nelson though. That one's a head scratcher. But if Thorpe doesn't get on his game, he very well might take that job back.
-
Ahh yeah I see that. Well, yeah, Campbell might regret doing that now. Thorpe definitely seems to have lost his touch in the last few years.
-
That loss last night might put Mark Nelson on the hot seat in Ottawa.
