  1. Sure he is a highly paid kicker, but our defense and Richie Hall get paid too and they are not earning their checks. Personally, (and this is not an excuse for him), I'm wondering if Medlock hasn't let his 61 yard miss from the WSF last year get in his head a little. He might be trying to kick too perfectly instead of just doing his thing. I'm more mad at Hall cuz he's been a liability all year and has been doing nothing to adjust or fix this D.
  2. That's why I'm holding Richie Hall responsible for giving up that go-head TD and making so we had to rely on Medlock instead of relying on the D to get a stop. It's ridiculous and it's Richie Stinko Hall's chickens coming home to roost. I can't wait until he is given his pink slip and Joe Lobendahn or somebody hired to replace him.
  3. Thing is injuries or no, the kind of points and drives we were putting up can be hard to maintain. That's a real high level of play, and just as we've seen with Calgary, that's a tough level to maintain. But that's why I'm calling on this defense to step it up and get rid of Richie Hall's silly prevent mode. That's an archaic form of defense. Scrap it and scrap Hurl and Knox off this team.
  4. I'll leave it up to our scouts and GM to decide whether Medlock should stay. Seems like this team is always a turnstile for kickers as it is. One kicker gets hot, then gets cold, but I'd like to think it's that way just about everywhere. You get the Ridirt fans just about ready to crucify Crapigna at one time, and then he gets made a hero another. Borris Bede is inconistent, Parades the same. I blame the defense more because it's been another "here we go again" outing from them. Hall loves that prevent D too much and is too stubborn to stop it. He must be the first to go as soon as that clock hits zero on the season.
  5. Well, obviously we don't, but I just think all these games blowing leads in the 4th quarter are driving the nail into Richie Hall's coffin. And sure MOS is loyal to a point, but he's a former LB who believes in tough stingy defense and can't imagine he's going to tolerate this too much longer. You just have to remember, if he's going to fire somebody, he's quiet about it.
  6. It's the whole "loyalty" thingy that I think fans have ingrained as saying MOS will not fire any coaches under any circumstances. While I'm certain he's not vocally telling the media that Richie is gone, I'm with you in that I don't believe he likes what he sees with this garbage and I think he and Walters will give Hall the pink slip. But if not ... I normally don't like the higher-ups like Miller and the BOD getting involved in this, but if they gotta put the boot down to see Hall kicked out ... so be it.
  7. If it takes a call from Wade Miller and the Bomber BOD to throw Richie Hall out, so be it. He's gotta go.
  8. Denmark's been a little quiet but I'm going to cut him a little slack cuz I know he can contribute, plus tonight was clearly a coming back party for Weston Dressler the way Nichols was throwing to him. Washington on the other hand ... Ryan Lankford is definitely done though now, especially after Chris Givens showed he can play and isn't afraid of contact. Attention FedEx office, we're going to be shipping out a defensive coordinator, MLB and bad WR. We want to overnight this.
  9. Medlock is being held accountable and I agree that 39 yards should be well in his ability to hit in clutch time. But we wouldn't have had to rely on that if Richie Hall's stinko defense hadn't allowed that easy late 4th Q TD drive. They get paid to make stops and they aren't making them.
  10. It was Walker who actually made a good effort cuz he went down low on the RB and almost took him down. If Hurl was even an average MLB or if that was Leggett, he would've finished em off easy right there and not looked like a bumbling clown. But I'm not going to hear any more defense now about Hurl being an asset. Ship Richie Hall outta here and send Hurl with him, send em both over to BC, they'll fit in nicely there with old Wally.
  11. That Walker gave him an easy shot after slowing down Wilder on that play and he looked like a jr high kid trying to make a tackle says it all. Richie Hall has to be fired and Hurl shipped out. I say Walters should already be doing some talent hunting right now for a better defensive coordinator cuz I know they're out there. Somebody, anybody is better than old Richie sucko Hall.
  12. It's official .... Richie Hall has no technique concepts and his D cannot deliver in crunch time in games. He has to get axed at all costs. Having said that ... tough game for Medlock. 39 yards is in his range and he should be able to hit that. Well ... can only hope BC comes up with an upset tonight, or we finish em off next week.
  13. Let's keep in mind here, every decision on whether you throw deep or keep it short (unless closely scripted) does ultimately come down to the QB. One thing about Nichols that's good is he's not going to force many balls around ball-hawking defenders. It's true Lapo likes the check down game, but I'm certain even he understands you gotta keep the opposing defense honest by including deeper routes in your playbook. But that also leads to why fans are justifiably wanting to crucify Lankford because of his bad deep ball route running. Giving up on a play like he did against Hamilton not only gives a defense a freebie, it also damages your QB's confidence in you. So perhaps part of the lack of deep shots has been that Nichols justifiably doesn't trust these guys. Plus while Denmark has speed, he lacks height advantage.
  14. Well, at least the Argos can't completely focus all on Denmark and Harris now.
  15. Well, looks like Givens is finally getting his opportunity to shine today. If he lights it up, I predict Stankford gets booted from this roster day after playoffs end.
  16. McDaniel and Daniels I believe were both out and Messam isn't at 100℅. Kamar Jorden also started sucking last night as well. I think the stamps have also caught our injury bug and they peaked too early.
  17. He's the GM too so he's responsible for that as well as sinking all the eggs in his basket into Jennings. He's also a stubborn SOB if he doesn't start Alex Ross against EDM tonight.
  18. Thank God Dressler is in and Ryan Stankford out. Least we got somebody who can run routes.
  19. I had said this a couple years ago and most ignored it. He's getting too long in the tooth and losing a bit of his touch. I gotta hand it to the guy on one hand that he's overcome health problems and gotten runs going like 2011. Not easy to do. But yeah, I think father time is calling his name. The BC owners should call on him to resign, but I got a feeling they like him too much to do it, just like the NYG owners and their loyalty to Tom Coughlin.
  20. Well of course it's going to be like that after a win. I'll say this though, if we get them at home in the playoffs I hope Loffler hits Carter so hard he breaks him in two.
  21. Yeah I'm with you because on the one hand it gets a little old always seeing the Bo Levi's sitting up there uncontested year after year and I'm plenty ready to see them give up the throne. On the other hand I would've been plenty fine with them winning tonight to shatter SSK's confidence.
  22. And how is that a bad thing? It would guarantee we get 2nd seed and with the injuries we're dealing with right now a little help doesn't hurt.
  23. Nice interception
  24. Man, Kamar Jorden shoulda easily had that.
  25. They are way outta sync right now. Maybe their own injury bug or late season meltdown's starting to bite them in the butt now.
