  1. Those awful refs just handed the Ridirts a freebie
  2. And finally there's a pass beyond 10 yards. That's how you score TDs now Brady.
  3. Well he's been doing a poor job of that for a while.
  4. Man that Marcus Brady is terrible. I know you got Wilder but jeez, how bout a little bit of play action or end around with Martese Jackson. Stupid OC with no imagination.
  5. What's worse though for the Argos is that stooge Marcus Brady is calling bad plays.
  6. The Richie Hall stink has permeated Toronto too apparently.
  7. Trestman is right to challenge. Worst PI call I ever seen.
  8. No game thread out I see. Things may look better in Bomber land today if Toronto finishes off these clowns in BMO.
  9. I probably made a mistake with the title, instead of making the Grey Cup, it should be winning the Grey Cup. Because I think if we make the Grey Cup but lose to anyone in the East (or crossover team), Hall should be tossed out the door.
  10. Yes we did expect better. I've been expecting better from them nearly all year though and I'm afraid last night's game was not an outlier. If we don't do something to pressure Jennings next week though, Lord help us.
  11. This. Now I'll warrant he did show a bit of indecisiveness out there last night, but idk if that's a lack of being able to grasp the speed of the game, or just lack of prep. He threw some passes right on target that got dropped though. He also has a pretty good deep ball, so let Adams and company get comfortable with him and he might do some damage.
  12. I'm interested to see what the X-rays on Nichols's throwing hand revealed. Seems like hand fixes usually can be done within a couple weeks, or QB plays with a glove or something. Davis didn't look good last night, but I wonder how he'd do with a week of practice.
  13. That's exactly why I've been calling for Hall to get fired all year cuz I knew if we had an off night like that, the defense would be unable to rise to the occasion. And he's the architect of it. #NoMoreBendBreakDefense We often talk about Calgary's success going through the offense, but I seen BLM struggle too. Difference between us and them is the Claybrooks brick wall defense. But I'll tell you another thing. There was more than one person who stunk it up on offense last night, but Lankford had better not ever play another offensive snap. Surely there's somebody either on a practice roster or who just got released who's 1000x better at route running and not running drunk like he does. He really stuck out like a sore thumb last night.
  14. The thing is though that one of those games was against Ryan Lindley in the rain, and another against a snakebit Eskimo team. Not real good barometers of improvement.
  15. Because while tonight was a bad day at the office in that department, they've been primarily what's carried this team. Add in Nichols's throwing hand injury and all those drops and that's the result. Richie Hall on the other hand has been having these problems all year long and has even had his butt bailed out by the O. His defenses have been soft for a while. He got kicked out of Regina for putting shitty defenses on the field, and he's repeating it here.
  16. Maybe true but not much better when you got a receiver running piss poor routes as bad as Carmichael in coverage, or even quitting on them for that matter and causing an interception.
  17. And while I think the coaching staff has done mostly good on player selection, I'm gonna say doodoo on releasing Thorpe and keeping Lankford. Lankford is Roc Carmichael on offense.
  18. Come on people how many times must I spell it out? If we so much as lose a playoff game Hall must be fired right after it. Surely you understand that can happen.
  19. It ain't midseason, I'm talking about what we do in the playoffs, and if we are 1 and done or don't beat CGY, I'm completely putting the blame on Hall.
  20. Just to not start an overreaction, I know this is part of the CFL. We had a big road win last week and unfortunately after so many games when things go right, you often have one that goes wrong, and such was tonight. But having said that, RichiHall's chickens have come home to roost again. This D has to be able to step up and get turnovers at some point, and his refusal to call blitzes is preventing them from doing that. And Ryan Lankford ... I don't have any issues with him returning kicks, but his play as a wideout has been awful. Killing our offense when he's in there. Dom Davis sure didn't tear it up but our guys were making his numbers worse with the drops. I think we can still get home field for the WSF, but it doesn't look like we're ready to knock off Calgary yet.
  21. Throwing hand injury.
  22. Been a tough going this first half but I liked Lapo's gimmick play. Hall's D has started to play a little better since giving up those 16 points off the bat, but we still need a turnover. Ryan Lankford should be limited to kick returns and no more offensive snaps. Although I will also say I might have just gone for the FG there to be sure we came away with points. One half doesn't make a game though, so let's finish this.
  23. He could probably sit against Hamilton and we would still win I would guess, considering Masoli has been bad against us in the past.
  24. This game even against the bad Tiger-Cats has big meaning now for the Blue and Gold. I believe if we win and Toronto knocks down SSK, the Bombers have homefield for a WSF locked up. Maybe not officially, but at that point I know one thing that SSK would be for sure out of the running for it as that point, the best they could do is finish with a tie record as us, and with us having beat them in a best of 3 series, we would get the nod over them. Plus, both BC and Edmonton play each other one more time, which means if Edmonton loses that matchup the best they'll be able to do is tie us, and we got the series win over them, and if BC loses, they'll have lost 8 so they would not have a tie record with us. Either way, we are just about there to clinching it.
