  1. There are no key stops when your defense gives up 40 to the worst offense in football. Richie Hall has got to go.
  2. Ummm exactly when was this? I wasn't aware we played more than one game in only a few days. If you're talking about the 41-40 miracle, the defense had practically 0 stops, esp with their back against the wall. We got back to back possessions in that game cuz of the onside kick recovery.
  3. Blatantly disagree with this. It was but one game that he turned it over after not doing so in 5 games, no different than a few stinkers like Reilly and T Harris have had. There will not and should not be Davis time period this season unless Nichols is physically unable to take the field. Even as bad as his outing was yesterday it was still 1000x better than Willy 2016. Richie Hall on the other hand has been driving this defense into the ground since he got there and they never respond when their back is against the wall.
  4. People keep saying it's the linebackers (and I mostly agree) who got the glaring weaknesses on this D. Problem is all of em but Leggett are Hall's guys that he wanted here. So that still makes the mess on defense Richie Hall's.
  5. He had 2 stints with the Riders, and his first one ending in 2007 I believe it was saw him get chosen as Edmonton's head coach. After he got fired from that for his lousy defense, he returned to Regina several years later with Chamblin, and on the way to SSK winning the 2013 Cup had his play calling on defense taken from him. Subsequently he got fired when it tanked even more the following year.
  6. This right here, Hall is lucky our offense is as good as it is, if he'd coached our 2011 team, we'd a won about maybe 5 games that year
  7. There it was again, the Richie Hall bad scheme come home to roost. Offense had a rough day too, but can't always have Montreal miracles week in and week out. Bend but don't break must be scrapped after this year is over.
  8. On a side note, I think an investigation should be called against the use of fake injuries used to try and impede the Lapo tempo offense
  9. To be fair, it's just been a rough afternoon all around. At some point our 4-game win streak was going to come to an end against SSK and this was the game I picked it to happen. But Richie Hall is responsible for the crappy show we've been seeing on defense, and if we're going to win the cup, this scheme must be done away with.
  10. Richie Hall should get his butt booted outta here at season's end
  11. I can only guess who Hamilton's 1 win will come against.
  12. I think the Redblacks are on the move, but at the same time ... Montreal's going to have some soul searching to do over the people running that team.
  13. Like I said, I believe Kavis Reed owns most of this mess. Chap is probably in a bit over his head as well, but I gotta put what the Als are doing mostly on Reed, esp after he sent Vernon Adams who surely could do better than this out.
  14. Ohhh boy, this ... could get ugly
  15. 20-1 ... damn just bad
  16. I really don't get the logic behind promoting that guy to GM, what did he do to warrant that?
  17. Well, Montreal is sucking again already. Whatever Kavis Reed wants to build there, it ain't working
  18. t's a fair point that we as fans are quick to see the bad in other fans while not seeing it in the mirror on ourselves. But having said that, no opposing fans should get their panties all in a bunch if they aren't handled with kid gloves, especially on a rival's forum. I'd also differentiate between the forum and the stadium. I'd certainly hope nobody takes trashing the rider fans to a point of dumping beer on them in the stadium or ... well losing all civility in general during the game, although i wouldn't blame someone if they started it first. But I would say for myself, I would not specifically go that far on any opposing fan, even a rider fan unless they didn't understand etiquette themselves.
  19. Not to mention NFL Preseason puts in all its final games tonight and has no games tomorrow, and from what I can see pretty much no big game college football either tomorrow night. Indeed, you'd figure around this time they'd start honing in on the Friday night slot.
  20. A little football to get things started before the big game on Sunday While it won't have the same kind of buildup per se, gotta think this game could be the crossroads for both teams. Ottawa has a little traction that could turn into a serious run if they won again tonight. Montreal on the other hand is 1-4 since upsetting the Stamps, so they need this game if they're gonna start turning things in the other direction. Loser of this game may very well not sniff the playoffs. Might have to try and break out 2 TVs for this one since college football's starting up tonight in Ohio St and I also got a FF draft going on tonight. Staying busy for sure.
  21. Man, I almost can't even believe these guys got to the Cup in 2013 and 2014. Right now they've really got some inept people who seem to not understand football in the house. I know before Austin stepped down and all he and Collaros were already on rocky terms and all, but to me he's got almost nothing for an O-line up there, and the guy who used to be speedy banks has turned into Mr. Dud Banks. If these guys are really seriously considering Manziel as their future .... ohhh boy I don't even know what I'd think if I was a Tiger Cat fan. As bad as I thought we had it under Mack and Burke, and it was bad bad bad make no mistake about that ... it didn't feel nothing like this.
  22. Forgot to put the 33 on there as the designation for Andrew Harris. Meantime, one matchup I'm looking forward to is Chris Randle on Duron Carter, at least that's what I'd do if I was MOS, have him shadow DC and make sure every throw his way is contested.
  23. Not to mention so did CFL.ca, I even put that graphic up back on page 1.
