I'm not sure if "erotic blitzes" would be approriate for a family-oriented Bomber audience. Would that involve nudity, verbal suggestions to distract Bomber O-linemen or deep, lustful gazes? You know I wouldn't be surprised if our bomb squad girls actually had that effect on opposing O-linemen through those blitzes lol.

He had some good days here in the Peg too, just as his mentor Tim Burke was also inconsistent but had some good ones too. I wouldn't call Crehan a success just because Mike Reilly played bad and ultimately went down. That'd be foolish in my opinion. My problem is, while I haven't named O'Shea the messaiah yet, I really want him to have a chance to turn this thing around and I'm afraid Richie Hall's ineptitude is gonna cost him his job just like Gary Crowton did to Lapolice and Burke. Yup, that's how bad Hall is. I think contrary to popular belief Marve will be starting around here, pending willy's return, I've heard nothing that says O'Shea doesn't like him and those who suggest that are barking up the wrong tree, but how is Marve supposed to fix this defense? Defense wins championships and if this defense doesn't get fixed, what happens on O won't even matter. There is no such thing as good vanilla defenses and coaches who run those should be axed immediately. Besides I heard Mike Benevides is looking for a job.

I predict Montreal's defense is going to rip Zac Collaros apart and make him look mediocre and cruise on their way to beating up on their opponents in the east. I could wage 100 grand on that and win big time money. This Montreal defense has the right coaching in it and that's why they are ripping on John Huffnagel's number 1 dominant offense. This Montreal team knows how to play defense and making fools here into absolute kiddy cakes. We need to go get one of their soon to be Grey Cup winning defensive coaches and bring them to Winnipeg and this defense will be immediately fixed.

Forget the QBs, we need one of those Montreal defensive coaches here, they are making scrubs into elite pass rushers and sack masters. If we get one of those Montreal defensive coaches here this defense will be elite again. Kyle Walters, please fire Richie Hall and bring on the MTL defensive line or linebacker coach. Fire Richie Hall and hire one of Montreal's coaching staff like Kavis Reed, Keith Willis, or Chris Tormey to fix this defense. It'll look like it did in 2011 again and Zac Collaros'll look mediocre because of it.

Montreal is making an elite defense out of inferior talent to ours, no reason we can't do this.

And yet Westerman still leads the team in sacks (not that that's saying much at this point) .. The more I watch this defense .. the more apparent it is that certain players are simply being misused .. a case in point is that Randle has gone from being an all-star calibre cornerback .. a guy QBs stayed away from .. to being a liability at LB .. Yes it's Richie Hall doing that. It's 100% his fault for moving Randle away from corner, 100% his fault for backing our linebackers off the line of scrimmage, and being stupid for not faking blitzes, loading the box, or doing anything to try and confuse Hamilton. What a stupid defensive coordinator who should be shitcanned immediately and an instant upgraded actual real DC brought in to fix this. Just stupid that he got hired to come in here.

To be fair, I can understand the taking of the wrath out on Brohm. I'm not defending him at all either. As a Packer fan, I always had thought he was drafted too high and thought the sports analysts who said he might beat out Aaron Rodgers as QB were just plain stupid. Much of his problem that I always said and that we saw tonight are his arm and mechanics. Someone mentioned his release, and if you look at it, you'll see his balls have minimal zip on them. At the end of the day though, a backup is all he is and will be. I sure hope though that Robert Marve takes over more as Drew Willy is out, because I agree he's the better backup. Biggest problem killing this team is Richie Hall, he's the worst DC in CFL history.

I agree in general, you can't necessarily expect your backup QB to be the savior all the time, there is a reason he is the backup and not the starter. However my problem with Brohm mostly is his arm strength. You see when he throws it that the ball simply doesn't have much zip on it, and the receivers don't have a chance to make that defender miss. I think on his good days he's a capable enough Brink or Elliot kind of QB, maybe even better than those 2, but I would've put Marve in. His physical abilities exceed that of Brohm's.

It is not just players, these schemes are the lousiest I've ever seen. Richie Hall royally sucks and doesn't belong at IGF. He's running the defense into the ground at a rabid pace.

They need to put Marve in, he's the young gun who's got a better arm, and even if this isn't gonna put a comeback on the plate, they need to go back to screen passing to Cotton.

He should get fired before halftime is even over. There's no excuse for this soft BS.

Daley, Reinbold, take your pick, doesn't matter to me. He was brought in to fix this defense and he's running it into the ground. early in the year or not, this defensive play is unacceptable. Period!!!
