Noeller Posted July 26, 2016 Report Posted July 26, 2016 RIP Coach... He threw me one of the pre-game warm-up balls before their game in Calgary in 2008. I have it on a shelf and think of him every time I see it. Rod Black, Wanna-B-Fanboy, bigg jay and 2 others 5
Jpan85 Posted July 26, 2016 Report Posted July 26, 2016 One of the toughest day I have had as fan. Every loss hurts but nothing hurt more than hearing the news that day that coach Harris had passed away. bigg jay, Wanna-B-Fanboy and Rod Black 3
WBBFanWest Posted July 27, 2016 Report Posted July 27, 2016 It's timely that we're reminded of Coach Harris' passing right now. Kind of puts 1-4 into perspective. Somehow, it just doesn't seem as important as it did yesterday. Rod Black 1
Tracker Posted July 27, 2016 Report Posted July 27, 2016 Harris was a light in this world and as much as he is missed, he has left much of value behind. What we do for ourselves dies with us. What we do for others lives forever. May he be at peace in that knowledge. bearpants, WBBFanWest, johnzo and 1 other 4
blueingreenland Posted July 27, 2016 Report Posted July 27, 2016 Yeah I remember that day. I was visiting (from sask) family in Manitoba and took the kids to the Bomber practice that day... I am not sure if our D line has ever been the same since then...great coach, even better man Rod Black 1
Jaxon Posted July 27, 2016 Report Posted July 27, 2016 Great man. I met him several times at coaching clinics and he always had time to talk. I had an observer field pass to training camp one year, and he recognized me, came over and talked to me before every session. He was just a great guy to talk to about life, family, football, and really anything. I was devastated when he passed. Rod Black and johnzo 2
Dragon37 Posted July 27, 2016 Report Posted July 27, 2016 This team fast-tracked it into crapper after he was gone
Westy Sucks Posted July 27, 2016 Report Posted July 27, 2016 Will always love Coach Harris. We was a great man. Always talking with the fans at start of practise. Ripping on Big Dougie as he was stretching on the field. I've never heard anyone have anything bad to say about him. Rod Black 1
