Atomic Posted September 6, 2013 Report Posted September 6, 2013 Aaron Rouse @A757R15m I'd like to Thank the WinnipegBlueBombers Organization/Fans/Town for the Great Hospitality. Good Luck on the season!
sweep the leg Posted September 6, 2013 Report Posted September 6, 2013 I'm guessing he decided the CFL isn't for him and left.
OldSchoolBlue Posted September 6, 2013 Report Posted September 6, 2013 Awesome. *Cue the circus music
JuranBoldenRules Posted September 6, 2013 Report Posted September 6, 2013 Probably thought he'd play right away.
braddman19 Posted September 6, 2013 Report Posted September 6, 2013 Yeah, WTF. Bring this guy in, play him, and go from there. How does this guy come all the way up here and not even end up on the field.
Atomic Posted September 6, 2013 Author Report Posted September 6, 2013 Really doesn't seem like the team initiated the release. Just doesn't make sense. Seems kinda like the OL that left us after a day late last season, Dan Barbados or whatever.
Mike Posted September 6, 2013 Report Posted September 6, 2013 Too many issues on the team, not a good environment for him. Chose to leave.
BB_Champ2020 Posted September 6, 2013 Report Posted September 6, 2013 Too many issues on the team, not a good environment for him. Chose to leave. Good riddance if this is true. Bad attitude. Don't need any more 'me first' kinda guys on this team.

Don't need any more 'me first' kinda guys on this team. I think it is unfair to label him as "Bad attitude" and a 'me first' kinda guy. If the situation is anything other than what you may have been led to believe, then it is better to get out before you get in too deep. At least this didn't happen after a couple weeks when we had really high hopes.
Atomic Posted September 6, 2013 Author Report Posted September 6, 2013 Too many issues on the team, not a good environment for him. Chose to leave. Where'd you hear this? Official line is that he had another NFL opportunity
Mr. Perfect Posted September 6, 2013 Report Posted September 6, 2013 Also says that he will come back in NFL opportunity doesn't pan out, so I highly doubt the environment or his attitude is any issue considering it's been said he'd be back.
Mr Dee Posted September 6, 2013 Report Posted September 6, 2013 I blame the Muamba brothers and their propensity to re-cycle. Either that or...he didn't meet the height requirements. (Too tall)
Mike Posted September 6, 2013 Report Posted September 6, 2013 Too many issues on the team, not a good environment for him. Chose to leave. Where'd you hear this? Official line is that he had another NFL opportunity Same person that told me he signed. I hope it's not true, but I don't see how suddenly a day into the NFL season there's interest in a 29 year old pensioned, high min salary guy who's been out of the league for two years.
Jimmy Pop Posted September 6, 2013 Report Posted September 6, 2013 I don't know why he left, but doesn't it seem a little far fetched that he'd leave because there are "too many issues" on the team? What would he and his agent have expected signing with a 1-8 team? Until I see something concrete that proves the official line is not true, I'll chalk it up to potential NFL interest.
kelownabomberfan Posted September 6, 2013 Report Posted September 6, 2013 Too many issues on the team, not a good environment for him. Chose to leave. to do what? Go work as a greeter at Walmart? Seriously, this sounds just plain silly.
Jimmy Pop Posted September 6, 2013 Report Posted September 6, 2013 Either way, it doesn't really matter. He's gone, and that sucks. Really thought he'd have some success up here....Like Bolden during his first tour.

Yeah it does seem kinda fishy.

holoman Posted September 6, 2013 Report Posted September 6, 2013 Tim Burke just said there was an agreement when he signed that if there was NFL interest he would leave but return if it didn't pan out.
DR. CFL Posted September 6, 2013 Report Posted September 6, 2013 The moral to this story is don't bring a guy in unless he has agreed to a contract in advance. Somebody may have dropped the ball on this one.
holoman Posted September 6, 2013 Report Posted September 6, 2013 It was a mutual agreement to let him ago if opportunities arose and for him to come back.
