Say what you will about the guy but according to a story in the Calgary Herald yesterday Mitchell is the first guy at the team facility arriving everyday before 5 am. The guy puts in the work.

Apparently Mitchell said his comments were directed at Westerman, who he basically called a dirty player. He said he wasn't meaning to slam Winnipeg by them. Duh-OK ... so what if he shows up early and puts in the work? That's his job and the Stamps pay him well to do it.

At the time, the comments by BLM bothered me, but really it's just trash talk in football.   It's gonna happen and it will continue to happen.   It would have been sweeter if the Blue pulled out the win.    Use it as extra motivation to kick their butt next time you play them.

The End.

What time someone arrives at or how devoted someone is to work doesn't excuse disrespectful or cocky behaviour.

No, it doesn't but they did say on the broadcast that Mitchell was like this at Eastern Washington as well. Thing is, we never harassed BLM to have him worry about being pressured, getting hit & throwing the ball before he wants to. We have to do a better job defensively to shut him up.

He made those comments after the first half.... Can you blame him? He was 100% right based on that first half...

That's what makes the last second loss difficult, they were so close to shoving it back in his face and they let it slip away. Best way to get people to stop being cocky pricks is make them eat their words.

{Sarcastica Font}Trash talking in football? Hold the front page. This is big news. {/Sarcastica Font}

I don't know why anyone takes these things so personally. BLM was right at the half. If he'd said it after the game, then 'Idiot BLM' would be appropriate. I like that kind of interview way better than the homogenized 'we just gotta cut down on the mistakes' kind. They are boring and add nothing to the game. BLM certainly wasn't boring and added some spark.

Did we even get one sack in that heartbreaker....Can't remember one and we were missing Cole...It'll be a dif. story if we meet them in the postseason ...and Bo will be 'peeping' a dif. tune...

Not if it takes them an entire half to adjust the coverage - he won't

Bo knows football.....you can talk if you can make the walk.  Nothing for it, but to meet these guys again....and shove it down their throats, when the chips are all on the table.

In the meantime, don't need to worry about the streak.    Just start another one.

How do his comments have anything to do with Westerman? I'm not usually someone who believes in all this racial profiling but if Bo wasn't a white QB everyone would be calling him a thug. Lucky his team won that game at the end because he's looking pretty stupid rn.

Sounds like a guy who's scared there's someone challenging the Stamps position of overlords of the CFL. Wonder what he'll say when we whip their butt in the West Final?
