iso_55 Posted October 2, 2016 Report Posted October 2, 2016 Looks like the same Drew Willy we knew here. Which isn't much.
iso_55 Posted October 2, 2016 Author Report Posted October 2, 2016 (edited) Man, he just looks bad. Exactly the way he did here. Dinks & dunks, underthrows a receiver in the flat then throws a pick that was later ruled an incomplete pass on 3rd down a few minutes later. The Argos are finding out what we already knew. iso_55 Posted October 2, 2016 Author Report Posted October 2, 2016 Willy fumbles on third down... How can anyone justify we should have kept this guy?? The Classic 1

iso_55 Posted October 2, 2016 Author Report Posted October 2, 2016 No sign of AC. He must be upstairs in the booth.

Stickem Posted October 2, 2016 Report Posted October 2, 2016 Drew was way over-rated and way over paid....He is what I always thought a no 2 serviceable qb....He was carrying a huge weight on his shoulders here because the fans expected him to deliver what he wasn't capable of...A few good games then the real Willy stood up...I hope Milo in T.O. can make something of him.... I wish him well BUT I hope they don't expect another Ricky Ray cuz it just ain't there. Dragon37, The Classic, Tracker and 1 other 4
White Out Posted October 2, 2016 Report Posted October 2, 2016 Is this the gloating thread? If so.. ooh man. Is Willy ever a mediocre train wreck. Nothing crazy like a full derailment. 400k of pure mediocre, lukewarm tapwater. The Classic and LimJahey 2
LeBird Posted October 2, 2016 Report Posted October 2, 2016 (edited) Man are we ever lucky we got the Argos on a bad day! Second and 10...3 yard pass to the flat still. Chances of Milo fixing this? Not too likely unless he can install in him a brand new version of the QBsmarts version 16.10. His monkey, his circus. Edited October 2, 2016 by LeBird changes<>chances The Classic and IC Khari 2
TBURGESS Posted October 2, 2016 Report Posted October 2, 2016 Willy didn't look any different in Argo blue and white than he did in Winnipeg blue and gold. Overthrow, under throw, behind, too far ahead then a couple of great accurate throws to make you think that he's better than he is. Repeat until the game ends. Not sure what Milanovich sees in him, but really glad he was willing to give us so much to get Willy. MOBomberFan, Dragon37, IC Khari and 4 others 7
coach17 Posted October 2, 2016 Report Posted October 2, 2016 Lotta ducks, looks like Willy has lost his confidence for sure. To bad, he had a lot of potential. Dragon37 1

Careful, you are inviting sensitive souls to show up in tears demanding to know why you want to see Willy fail in life. He's done more than you! What has he done to you personally! And such. Brandon Posted October 2, 2016 Report Posted October 2, 2016 Are we talking about Willy from 2016 or the Willy we had when he first came to the Blue. He clearly wasn't this kind of player when he left Saskatchewan for us and when he started for us a few years back. Mr Dee 1

In fact, I'm pretty sure most people would agree with his assessment. Willy didn't look any different, and we are lucky we got so much value in return for him. Who here has been defending Willy's play lately? Just not clear to me who are you gloating for. Tracker and SPuDS 2

rebusrankin Posted October 2, 2016 Report Posted October 2, 2016 I hope Willy turns it around. I mean I hope for next year and beyond but I still hope for it. Dragon37 1
pigseye Posted October 2, 2016 Report Posted October 2, 2016 God he looks awful, like his shoulder is done or something.
Blueandgold Posted October 2, 2016 Report Posted October 2, 2016 He's so bad. It's comical that people here to this day try to say that Drew Willy is on par with Matt Nichols.

We got a frigging first rounder & TJ Heath for giving up a what is truly a 2nd or 3rd string qb. Edited October 2, 2016 by iso_55 Tracker 1

Because it's nice to see someone who you respect be successful (except against us of course)? From what I observed, Willy seemed to always conduct himself as a professional when he was replaced. Seems like a nice guy, hope it works out for him plus probably good for the league. Nothing wrong with that. Dragon37, Mr Dee, Tracker and 1 other 4
kelownabomberfan Posted October 2, 2016 Report Posted October 2, 2016 Those ducks Willy was throwing today were just embarrassing. I don't know where Drew Willy circa 2014 has gone, but it doesn't look like he's coming back.

A trip to Lourdes is the only hope for Willy and the Argos at this point, and a slim one at that.
