Noeller Posted October 4, 2016 Report Posted October 4, 2016 (edited) Darrin Bauming @DarrinBauming 3h3 hours ago Andrew Harris (ankle) is in pads and looking like a full participant at #Bombers practice today. The 29-year-old has missed three games. Darrin Bauming @DarrinBauming 3h3 hours ago Ian Wild (upper-body), who returned last week after missing two games, is a non-participant at #Bombers practice today. Darrin Bauming @DarrinBauming 3h3 hours ago Bruce Johnson, who left Friday's game and did not return (upper-body), is back with the #Bombers first-team defence today. Darrin Bauming @DarrinBauming 2h2 hours ago Timothy Flanders running with the #Bombers first-team O. Andrew Harris is running hard, but to me, he does not look as fast as normal. Darrin Bauming @DarrinBauming 17m17 minutes ago O'Shea says the hope for receiver Darvin Adams (injured shoulder July 28) is to return after the #Bombers' Week 18 bye. Darrin Bauming @DarrinBauming 12m12 minutes ago "I'm sure Kyle (Walters) and his department are combing through the film and taking a look." Nash00 Posted October 4, 2016 Report Posted October 4, 2016 Call it blind optimism but the fact that MOS didnt come right out and say `We`re happy with the group we have` or something to that effect is encouraging. I would echo the majority of us who would love to see Tori Gurley here, I think he could be the stretch guy were have been looking for for a while now. As far as any character concerns go, who knows maybe it was the entirety of the group or one specific individual who was causing the friction there and separately they can all function on other teams.
Noeller Posted October 5, 2016 Author Report Posted October 5, 2016 Some notes from today: Jeff Hamilton @jeffkhamilton 3h3 hours agoWinnipeg, Manitoba Consider Andrew Harris good to go against Lions Saturday. Team hasn't declared him the starter but said he's ready. #Bombers Also, Heath worked with the 1s today in place of healthy Bruce Johnson, who moves to the 2s.....
Eternal optimist Posted October 6, 2016 Report Posted October 6, 2016 Good to hear Harris likely starting...he's a workhorse for our O and can will them to a win if the defense holds.
M.O.A.B. Posted October 6, 2016 Report Posted October 6, 2016 I still want the Bombers to put both Harris and Flanders this game and onwards.

Stickem Posted October 6, 2016 Report Posted October 6, 2016 Get Gurley in the line-up......orrrr will it be a little much getting him oriented that quick...If he isn't I want to see him in Vancouver next game..
Noeller Posted October 7, 2016 Author Report Posted October 7, 2016 Word is McDuffie scratched again, and Gurley will actually be in the line up....
Taynted_Fayth Posted October 7, 2016 Report Posted October 7, 2016 interesting they have gurley behind dressler

Atomic Posted October 7, 2016 Report Posted October 7, 2016 I don't see how Gurley could be in the lineup with zero days of practice but I guess we'll see
Jpan85 Posted October 7, 2016 Report Posted October 7, 2016 He just got here within the last hour or so.
Mike Posted October 7, 2016 Report Posted October 7, 2016 Me throw you ball. You catch ball. Run. Fatty Liver and Noeller 2
Noeller Posted October 7, 2016 Author Report Posted October 7, 2016 Jamie Thomas @TSNJamieThomas 25m25 minutes ago Despite reports to the contrary Tori Gurley will be in #Bombers lineup Saturday against #BCLions. #CFL Sorry guys -- shoulda included that initially. I swear I wasn't just making **** up.........this time
Jpan85 Posted October 7, 2016 Report Posted October 7, 2016 The guy is from Hamilton probably saw he was on 46 and thinks he will be in. Bigblue204 1
Noeller Posted October 7, 2016 Author Report Posted October 7, 2016 Possibly, but then Penton said (paraphrasing) "This would make sense, as McDuffie was on the periphery all week at practice".......so that's where I'm getting my "Gurley in, Duff Man out" from...

It is beyond un real if gurley steps in on this level of notice and does any thing. It says a TON about him that they would stick him right into the line up.
17to85 Posted October 7, 2016 Report Posted October 7, 2016 how hard does it have to be for Gurley? Just say "you're tall, go run down the sidelines and we'll put the ball up for you to go win."
Noeller Posted October 7, 2016 Author Report Posted October 7, 2016 Might not know anything for sure up until right before kickoff, but will be interesting.....MOS doesn't tip his cards until he's forced to. wbbfan 1

Just say "you're tall, go run down the sidelines and we'll put the ball up for you to go win." Offenses arent by any means that simple. A wr runs the wrong route on a timing pass and the qb throws a pick 6. Breaks the wrong way, runs the route too deep or not deep enough etc. Offensive plays are designed to create openings, and set up other variations of the same play. You dont just have one wr run deep every play, a side from the fact they'd burn out in no time flat. Have you seen the size of a modern football play book on offense?
