Noeller Posted November 1, 2016 Author Report Posted November 1, 2016 Ed Tait @EdTaitWFC 2m2 minutes ago Clarence Denmark not practising today for #Bombers. Tori Gurley working in his place
Noeller Posted November 1, 2016 Author Report Posted November 1, 2016 Bob Irving @BobIrvingCJOB 3m3 minutes ago Denmark and Bass not practicing with bombers. Both injured. Gurley taking denmark reps. Neufeld to stay at right guard for chung vs ottawa
MOBomberFan Posted November 1, 2016 Report Posted November 1, 2016 I wonder if Denmark is injured, or 'injured'
Noeller Posted November 1, 2016 Author Report Posted November 1, 2016 sounds like Keeping and Chungh might both be healthy, but for some reason, Neufeld is still practicing at RG.....

Odd. Maybe Chungh isn't quite 100% and they want to make sure he's healthy for the playoffs? Noeller 1

Nolby Posted November 1, 2016 Report Posted November 1, 2016 I have no issues with putting Gurley in for Denmark, that's good depth.

Noeller Posted November 1, 2016 Author Report Posted November 1, 2016 and on the other side of the field: Tim Baines@TimCBaines Sure looks like QBs Brock Jensen and Danny O'Brien will play vs. #Bombers. Good bet receiver John Harris also in lineup. #Redblacks
Noeller Posted November 1, 2016 Author Report Posted November 1, 2016 Also, re: Bass being injured -- Bauming says Knox is getting the 1st team reps in his place. Also says Chungh is practicing but Neufeld getting the majority of the reps with the 1s...
Noeller Posted November 1, 2016 Author Report Posted November 1, 2016 Darrin Bauming @DarrinBauming Sounds like #Bombers MLB Khalil Bass is pretty banged up and is doubtful to play on Friday vs the #RedBlacks.
Goalie Posted November 1, 2016 Report Posted November 1, 2016 (edited) It's day 1 I guess. If guys are injured even slightly they probably won't play. Bombers ARE in the playoffs so if guys are nicked up... it's best to sit them. I bet Nichols doesn't play the whole game either. Edited November 1, 2016 by Goalie

My guess is Nichols does play the entire game, they're still fighting for home field.
Goalie Posted November 1, 2016 Report Posted November 1, 2016 They have a losing record at home. BC won't be losing to Sask either so really we can pretend they are playing for a home game but in reality... Dr. Blue 1
Noeller Posted November 1, 2016 Author Report Posted November 1, 2016 they want the revenue from hosting a game....no question Miller and Co are praying for a home playoff game.
Goalie Posted November 1, 2016 Report Posted November 1, 2016 I'm sure they are but that is out of their control now... they can win vs Ottawa and probably will... but sask beating bc seems pretty unlikely
Tracker Posted November 1, 2016 Report Posted November 1, 2016 Well, we're going to find out if Nichols and the team can rebound from what was possibly their worst outing of the year.
bigg jay Posted November 1, 2016 Report Posted November 1, 2016 Not that their offense was anything spectacular last week but this should help us right the ship before playoffs.

Goalie Posted November 1, 2016 Report Posted November 1, 2016 I'd seriously consider going after Jensen in the off season. He has all the tools needed to be a very good cfl QB.

Except that, as some of us have been saying, sometimes a backup comes in to a game, catches fire, and lights it up. If we go into this one thinking we're going to have an easy time of it we're ripe for getting beat, again.
