The league sure is lucky that Ottawa made it into the cup....  if they drop the prices to something reasonable then they can get a whole bunch of Redblack fans to drive down for the day.

yeah Calgary-Edmonton playing in Toronto would be a tough sell, especially to the losers in Toronto who are too dense to watch football in the first place, even if the Argos were playing.

mediocre sports market thats over saturated with various products. And thats as a raps/jays fan. Ill never forget the bangwagon jumps and exoduses the franchise has seen.

Still soo torn on who i want to win less. The stamps are soo douchy. especially BLM. But then the RBs winning with a sub .500 record as such a new franchise with our own futility makes me sick. Really wish some how both teams could lose.

Papered or not BMO will be full but CFL football is all but dead in the big smoke, going to take a big resurgence to get this franchise back to respectability and get the crowds back if ever

has anyone heard how many tickets have been sold now that we know who the GC participants will be?  You've got to think there would be at least a couple of thousand Redblacks fans that would make the trip to Toronto.

It was reported yesterday that it *will* be sold out this week, but that's going to include a fair bit of papering.

Really would like to see Elimimian (MLB) & Bass (WIL) combo... but that's a pipe dream.

Also Westerman bros playing together... that's more possible though.

Burnham and Elimimian would be dreams and an early Christmas present.

considering they're not FA's until February, are you already looking forward to Christmas 2017?

Quote

Sixteen Hamilton-area Pizza Pizza locations were offering 15 pairs of first-come, first-serve tickets to the Grey Cup at Toronto’s BMO Field for a paltry $30 in a package that also includes a three-topping large pie, 10 wings, four cans of pop and dipping sauce.

Quote

One lucky Hamilton Pizza Pizza customer reported, via Twitter, that he walked out of a store 10 minutes before the promotion was kiboshed with his grub, plus two tickets in section 117, each with a face value of $299.

Quote

“Although it may have been made with good intentions, (the promotion) didn’t have proper authorization,” stated CFL spokesman Paulo Senra in an email. “Once it was brought to our attention, we had the promotion pulled immediately.”

They probably got them for free from the league with "strings".

No way they paid for them and are giving them away on a $30 pizza deal.
