The Unknown Poster Posted November 8, 2016 Report Posted November 8, 2016 If Im the coach I debut him on the road and away from the local fans and media. Because I wont blame Jets fans if they boo him off the ice the first time. They might cheer him, who knows. But all this funny business about right vs left is laughable. He didnt want to play here so if the local give him a little jab on his return, I dont blame them at all. Boo him off the ice the first time. Then move on.

If I'm the coach, I ice the best team possible. That includes Trouba.

If he blows me out of the water at practice, sure. But assuming there is some rust and he'd BETTER for getting a couple more practices in, I'd debut him on the road. But it sounds like he's playing tonight.

It's not like he's been off for 6 months. He played in September. If he were coming back from injury, you would put him right back in. Goalie 1

Some forget how short fans memories are....especially at a game. I think, at worst, he initially gets a few boos. After a few mins and a few hits he'll be getting cheers.
Goalie Posted November 8, 2016 Report Posted November 8, 2016 He's a better option than Postma Stuart Chiarot and Melchiori but it wouldn't surprise me if he doesn't play tonight

I don't think Trouba gets booed that much. Some fans will certainly boo him and others will cheer. If he makes a big hit or a key play, all will be forgotten until a trade ultimately happens.
FrostyWinnipeg Posted November 8, 2016 Author Report Posted November 8, 2016 (edited) Helle to start. 3 in a row now. #prognasticatingbastard Re-assigned defenceman Julian Melchiori to the Moose. 1st period Scheif 1-0 2-0 tips one off a Chiarot shot 2nd period Dallas on the board 2-1 3-1 4-1 Where can i get one of those free hats? Dano makes it 5-1 Scheif makes it 6-1 Edited November 9, 2016 by FrostyWinnipeg Blue-urns 1
The Unknown Poster Posted November 9, 2016 Report Posted November 9, 2016 Kid is pretty good. 65 more to go. Scheif is leading the league in points. Quietly. Blue-urns 1
FrostyWinnipeg Posted November 9, 2016 Author Report Posted November 9, 2016 (edited) 6-2 Was just a matter of time before Helle got beat on a wrap a round. 7-2 Good Copp. 8-2 Lowry. Is he back in our good books? Edited November 9, 2016 by FrostyWinnipeg
Ducky Posted November 9, 2016 Report Posted November 9, 2016 (edited) He has been okay...not much reason to call down his game tonight Edited November 9, 2016 by Ducky
Taynted_Fayth Posted November 9, 2016 Report Posted November 9, 2016 "Copp blocked it" sounds funny when the announcer says it

Please don't suggest length of contract indicates how much a player wants to stay. A no move clause would mean more. Kane signed for 6 years and he sure didn't want to be here. Jacquie Posted November 9, 2016 Report Posted November 9, 2016 (edited) Remember how long we waited for a player to get the Jets' first hat trick. Laine Edited November 9, 2016 by Jacquie kelownabomberfan 1
Ducky Posted November 9, 2016 Report Posted November 9, 2016 The best game I have seen Myers play in a Jets uniform. They should get him pissed off more often. Petan showed some poise and LSE dominated.
bustamente Posted November 9, 2016 Report Posted November 9, 2016 Lots of goals and team toughness made for a great night. League needs to look at Roussels trip on Ehlers that could of had the wrong ending. Blue-urns 1
Goalie Posted November 9, 2016 Report Posted November 9, 2016 Helle was solid and will get a chance to run with it now.

Goalie Posted November 9, 2016 Report Posted November 9, 2016 (edited) No. We are just a very talented young team who has the top 2 goal scorers in the league. Yup.. 1. Laine 2. Scheif Edited November 9, 2016 by Goalie

The Unknown Poster Posted November 9, 2016 Report Posted November 9, 2016 Couturier has 6 points in 14 games and is a -3. Interestingly they have the same career points right now. Over their careers: Cout: 364GP - 60g, 103a, 163pts Scheif: 241GP - 67g, 96pts, 163pts Big difference is games played. Anyone wanna go back and pick again?
