Noeller Posted February 16, 2017 Report Posted February 16, 2017 Dude was the definition of ratio breaker....a huge value pick-up in Fantaseh......but just couldn't stay healthy the last few years.
johnzo Posted February 16, 2017 Report Posted February 16, 2017 Always been a Durie fan ... respect to anyone who can come back from a massive injury like he did. (He missed his last two seasons of university ball due to nerve damage in his knee, but still jumped to the Argos the season after, somehow.)
M.O.A.B. Posted February 16, 2017 Report Posted February 16, 2017 OL Peter Dyakowski released by Ticats What position he played in the OL?

Noeller Posted February 16, 2017 Report Posted February 16, 2017 Dyakowski really showed his age last year. If anyone picks him up, it'll be for cheap and only as a mentor-6th OL kinda guy......like Keeping was supposed to be last year. TBURGESS 1

He's not even that old, but he did seem to really fall off last season.

I won't pretend I paid much attention to him, but he lost his starting position last season, and now his job, so the coaches must think he was the problem. Edited February 16, 2017 by sweep the leg
Atomic Posted February 16, 2017 Report Posted February 16, 2017 He missed 2014 due to a major injury and never seemed to regain his form. He was an allstar guard at one point but at 33 years old.... don't think he's making a comeback. Could be a good depth guy I guess, if he can play centre. Not much use for a 6th OL who can only play guard, IMO.
JuranBoldenRules Posted February 16, 2017 Report Posted February 16, 2017 Dyakowski had a really bad knee injury in the 2013 Grey Cup and has never been close to good since then. He'd be a good fit with the Riders pending retirement NI squad. Labatte, Best, Brouillette, Bagg, Gaydosh. Atomic and Judd 2

mbrg Posted February 16, 2017 Report Posted February 16, 2017 Walters needs to quickly sign him and trade him to the Riders for a 4th rounder before he retires. Fred C Dobbs and 17to85 2
do or die Posted February 16, 2017 Report Posted February 16, 2017 (edited) Just like last year, when I learned that the Bombers had blown money on washed up FA players on Day one,......while the Riders wisely scooped up all the good young ones on Day 2. At least that was the story. Edited February 16, 2017 by do or die bearpants and Brandon 2

The interview he did afterward was a piece of art. He trolled them so well. I think the Rider fans would take it in stride if he were signed.

Are you sure...lol....He went on to say ...if I remember correctly that he rated Wpg. fans a lot more higher than Sask. fans...Now that rub could never be overlooked lol

Mike Posted February 16, 2017 Report Posted February 16, 2017 If they waste even a minute negotiating a contract for that over the hill tub of goo, it's a mistake. That being said, nothing would make me happier than if Vince Young started week 1 of the 2017 CFL season for them. SPuDS and Brandon 2
Stickem Posted February 16, 2017 Report Posted February 16, 2017 Where are they holding the negs.....in a dumpster...I bet the locals are thrilled to the limit on hearing this news....most praying that negotiations go nowhere....Better head back to the Peg Kevin...LOL
Booch Posted February 16, 2017 Report Posted February 16, 2017 They will prob negotiate and upfront significant bonus..decent salary on top of it and eat up SMS and then when he basically sucks are stuck with him due to the bonus signed for...sound very Jonesesque to me hahaha Brandon 1
JCon Posted February 16, 2017 Report Posted February 16, 2017 Imagine the storylines if they get Young and Manziel into camp together? Longhorn vs Aggie. Heisman vs Heisman. Gong show vs gong show.

The poor old Jones/Murphy disciples over at Riderfans catch seem to catch a break. All they want is to stick Jones triumphs down others cakeholes and to trash other teams for their transactions, but ole Jones just keeps pulling the rug from under them.
