The Bombers originally traded #6 in the 2010 draft for #9 and #22. At nine they took Watson, and then they traded #22 (where Steele was taken) for Alex Brink.

Could've had Watson, Steele, and Greaves in the same draft (and we already had Donny O on the DL).

Thanks Joe Mack (and thanks for nothing Alex Brink).

Would not go nuts money wise but if he would agree to a reasonable contract I would do it. Him and Donny O were a good combo could be the same with Thomas.

I'll take Locking Down our Starting 7 Ratio for eight hundred Alex.

Boudreau would be a good hire. Quite the resume behind him, one that stands out is fairly recently with the Rams;

In 2015, the Rams allowed the fewest sacks in the league (18) and finished seventh in the NFL in rushing yards per game.

Sounds like a good replacement for Wylie

If I was an Argo fan I'd be so unexcited for the Popp hiring. He was one of the worst GM's in the CFL the last few years of his time in Montreal. Now, Trestman? Different story. Popp should be on a short leash as it is & told that if he ever wants to coach again he'll be fired.

Realistically, with the very short time frame, and with the selection as limited as it was, it was probably as good as it could be under the circumstances. Besides, Trestman said he would come to Canada only if Popp was part of the package.

I'm a big Trestman fan. Popp is a good GM. As long as he doesn't try to be a coach again, they should be great additions to the Argos. Should have happened back in December if they wanted to have the maximum chance at a winning season this year, but I still think they will make a pretty big difference this year.

Popp was a good GM. Not the last 5 years.

Popp spent 21 seasons as the Montreal Alouettes general manager (1996-2016), leading the franchise to eight Grey Cup appearances, winning three. Two of those titles came with Trestman as the club’s head coach (2009-10).

Andrew Michael Cash to Toronto?

I'm still so confused about how the Bombers are managing to bring in Paul Boudreau.

He must just be looking for an "easier" pace to the season at his age. Easily capable of getting work in the NFL.

Esks have released Eddie Steele.

Any chance the Bombers can the Winnipeg boy home?

This move would make a lot of sense to me. He can add depth and rotate with Jake Thomas.  Hopefully we can draft a beast to contribute to the DT position as well.

So, what's to lose?

and if not, which one are we getting? Lawless better not have just googled the name...

If they are two different people, we will have two Coach Paul_Boudreaux
