So now Chris Jones has to rip two more pages out of "Rocks" section of the master plan book. rebusrankin 1
rebusrankin Posted March 20, 2017 Report Posted March 20, 2017 Newman hurts their st depth but it would be worse if it was Labatte or Muamba.
Atomic Posted March 20, 2017 Report Posted March 20, 2017 They got a bunch of safeties over there. I'm not sure this will have much of an effect. It's too bad Graig got so badly hurt in his first season here. He was set up to have a huge opportunity. Who knows what might have happened?
SpeedFlex27 Posted March 20, 2017 Report Posted March 20, 2017 Yeah, just to come back after that leg injury is testament to the guy's courage, toughness & perseverance. Tracker, Fred C Dobbs, Bigblue204 and 1 other 4
Fatty Liver Posted March 21, 2017 Report Posted March 21, 2017 CFL Headlines @CFL_Headlines Formers Ticats OC Tommy Condell to join Argos as receivers coach https://goo.gl/fb/VYfVMP Expected Condell to return to the CFL at a higher level than this, especially with the work he did for the Argos prior to the hiring of Popp and Trestman. Jpan85 Posted March 21, 2017 Report Posted March 21, 2017 They hired Marcus Brady as OC he is pretty familiar with what Trestman runs.
Atomic Posted March 21, 2017 Report Posted March 21, 2017 Actually a pretty solid looking staff they are putting together in T.O. Mark F, Mr Dee and Tracker 3

Yeah I recall Condell was in the conversation as a soon-to-be HC... I wonder if he'll have an additional title like assistant HC...
johnzo Posted March 21, 2017 Report Posted March 21, 2017 Yeah, Newman came back from a pretty gruesome injury, I'll always respect that. Good luck to him in his next chapter.

My guess is he had personal problems, family problems or a falling out with Austin. All 3 are nothing more than off-the-cuff speculation.

It'd sure be interesting to know exactly what happened between Condell & Austin. bearpants 1

17to85 Posted March 22, 2017 Report Posted March 22, 2017 considering how late they put that staff together and the restrictions on getting coaches off other staffs that's a better group than I expected. Wanna-B-Fanboy, JCon, WildPath and 2 others 5
Fatty Liver Posted March 22, 2017 Report Posted March 22, 2017 Making Chamblin the D.C. is a bit of a head-scratcher, looks like he brought in Brackenridge with him.

As strictly a DC, Chamblin will be one of the best in the league, for sure...that's a pretty damn good staff, all things considered...
BigBlue Posted March 22, 2017 Report Posted March 22, 2017 coaching just might be more important than the players in terms of how you spend your money
Tracker Posted March 22, 2017 Report Posted March 22, 2017 Looks like the list of teams that will be sucking this season has shrunk to one. Al Bundy 1

Noeller Posted March 22, 2017 Report Posted March 22, 2017 Mostly his pretty solid track record...as an HC, it's another story....his attitude wears thin. But as a position coach only, he'll be more than solid. Tracker 1
