Wanna-B-Fanboy Posted February 10, 2017 Report Posted February 10, 2017 http://www.cnn.com/2017/02/10/politics/russia-dossier-update/index.html Quote US investigators corroborate some aspects of the Russia dossier Washington (CNN)For the first time, US investigators say they have corroborated some of the communications detailed in a 35-page dossier compiled by a former British intelligence agent, multiple current and former US law enforcement and intelligence officials tell CNN. As CNN first reported, then-President-elect Donald Trump and President Barack Obama were briefed on the existence of the dossier prior to Trump's inauguration. None of the newly learned information relates to the salacious allegations in the dossier. Rather it relates to conversations between foreign nationals. The dossier details about a dozen conversations between senior Russian officials and other Russian individuals. Sources would not confirm which specific conversations were intercepted or the content of those discussions due to the classified nature of US intelligence collection programs. But the intercepts do confirm that some of the conversations described in the dossier took place between the same individuals on the same days and from the same locations as detailed in the dossier, according to the officials. CNN has not confirmed whether any content relates to then-candidate Trump. The corroboration, based on intercepted communications, has given US intelligence and law enforcement "greater confidence" in the credibility of some aspects of the dossier as they continue to actively investigate its contents, these sources say. I predict, we will see something like this in short order:
The Unknown Poster Posted February 11, 2017 Report Posted February 11, 2017 I love Spicers response to that CNN story. What's that expression about protesting too much? Every day this admin becomes more of a joke.
do or die Posted February 11, 2017 Report Posted February 11, 2017 This administration seems rather confused. Then again, pretty tough for them to keep track of which particular lies to defend, on any given day. bustamente 1
Mark F Posted February 11, 2017 Report Posted February 11, 2017 Americans probably not happy with this. This occurred during periods where both parties had a turn in power. Which makes no difference. Quote in the U.S., between 1978 and 2015, the income share of the bottom 50% fell to 12% from 20%. Total real income for that group fell 1% during that time period. That’s not the case elsewhere. In China — where there also has been a marked rise in income inequality — the bottom 50% saw their income go up by 401%, not surprising given the industrialization the world’s second-largest economy has seen. Even in developed France, however, the bottom 50% saw their income grow, by 39%
Fatty Liver Posted February 11, 2017 Report Posted February 11, 2017 (edited) Anyone with "big plans" in the U.S. better scurry across the border soon, as it looks like we're next in line for a border wall. Well worth watching just to see the reporter lose control of her eye-movement starting around the 2:00 mark, it looks like they are desperately seeking to escape from her head. A tad distracting. Mark F Posted February 11, 2017 Report Posted February 11, 2017 (edited) Terrorism Quote Consider, for instance, that since the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, Americans have been no more likely to die at the hands of terrorists than being crushed to death by unstable televisions and furniture. It's a huge gift to the military industrial spy complex, financially well worth spinning on and on forever. The Stasi would envy the surveillance powers/data gathering on Americans carried out by their own gubmint. oh scary scary terrorists! I can't find Iraq on the map, never heard of Yemen, but who cares, please spend more on military to make us safe! From those A-rabs, or Putin, or the Chinese!!!!! (But we love love love Saudi Arabia!) anyway, What's Beyonce doing today? complete and utter scam. Edited February 11, 2017 by Mark F Wanna-B-Fanboy and Fatty Liver 2

Quote In July 2008, the United States Department of Justice investigated around 900 cases of alleged fraud committed by contractors. Similarly, the Defense Contract Audit Agency uncovered $10 billion in questionable Iraq contracts,[1] and a US audit found that the occupation authority had lost track of reconstruction funds totalling nearly $9 billion. Henry Waxman, then Chairman of the United States House of Representatives Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, said, "The money that's gone into waste, fraud and abuse under these contracts is just so outrageous, it's egregious. It may well turn out to be the largest war profiteering in history." "Lost track of nine billion dollars" my absolute all time favourite is the Twelve billions dollars cash, U.S. dollars, paid for by the people of the United states, delivered on pallets, that "went missing" in Iraq. somewhere somebody must have a ten million dollar yacht named "thankyou Iraq war" Another fav, the Americans were simply unable to install metres on the oil pipelines in Iraq, so there was no record of how much was pumped, or where it went. for years. This is nothing new, it's been going on since the beginnings of government, it's just the way it is and there's nothing any person or party can do to change it. There will be another big war, eventually the American Empire will collapse and the cards will be reshuffled so that they can do it all over again.....but it will end up the same. Jacquie Posted February 13, 2017 Report Posted February 13, 2017 (edited) Here's an interesting opinion piece by John Schindler (who "is a security expert and former National Security Agency analyst and counterintelligence officer. A specialist in espionage and terrorism, he’s also been a Navy officer and a War College professor. He’s published four books and is on Twitter at @20committee") about US intelligence agencies not trusting Trump's administration on the Observer website: http://observer.com/2017/02/donald-trump-administration-mike-flynn-russian-embassy/ Edited February 13, 2017 by Jacquie
