Why dont the Germans just ask for it back?  Surely they can take back their own Gold, should they desire.

hard to understand.

Makes no sense to me. I agree, just take it back.

Maybe you guys should get your information from articles that aren't five years old, for starters.

The Germans are well aware of what gold is in the U.S. and released detailed information about it in 2013.  Furthermore they began repatriation of their gold in 2016 and for the first time have more of their gold held in Frankfurt than in New York.

There are good reasons to not want ALL their gold within their borders.  And when they do want some of their gold back, it's not like driving to your buddy's house and putting his couch in the back of your truck.

So they did exactly what I suggested they do?

Good.  Me and the Germans, on the same page when it comes to International financial concerns.

It's good to let the news simmer for a few years, just kind of aging, it gets better that way. like beer.

got a link to the new info?

More liberals looking for something where there is nothing.

So Trump has now publicly "written off" the Chinese, in terms of influencing North Korea.....after endless bragging about how they were going to do his work for him....less that a month ago.    At least the Trump family did get their patents and licenses, anyways.....

What a statesman....

Trump's backing himself into a corner.  NK has already crossed Trump's red line of developing a missile that could strike the US.  He said it would never happen.  It's happened.

At some point, Trump is going to have to send in the troops (or drones).

If the President of the USA can't find his way five feet from the bottom step of a plane ramp to an open car door without help, conservatives, liberals, Bomber fans, and lower slobovians should all be worried.

Treating these things like a football game, "at 7:30 central, it's the liberals v conservatives"  etc, is a road to everybody losing.

Yeah and overanalyzing every tiny detail of the guy's day is just as bad.  What exactly do you think happened in that video that has you so concerned?  He's blind and can't see the limo?

Its a fair point.  And had that been Clinton, or Obama or even Bush really, it would have been an amusing moment that we'd hardly mention.  But because Trump is an embarrassing idiot, it gets more play.  I can understand that.  Realistically, he assumed he was going to a different limo.  Im sure he's surrounded by limos (there is never just one).  So its not an impossible mistake to make.  His aid or body man probably should have made sure he knew which limo he was taking.

the declaration of independence was born out of the american revolution. is it suprising that someone would take that quote as inciting revolution? thats kind of exactly what it means.

So you're completely ignoring the role of the House of Representatives?

HoR exists for population representation.  Senate exists for equivalent representation for each state.  So if you take that away you are effectively silencing the role of smaller states in federal decision making.  It's not a leap at all.  That's what you're talking about.

Hello Canada.
