Mark F Posted June 9, 2018 Report Posted June 9, 2018 (edited) So now Trump is saying all tariffs should be removed I just read. He is a dumpster fire, train wreck crackpot. G7? Please don't ever have it in Canada again. $400 million it's costing. For what, a few meetings, some photos of them all smiling, and hoping to release a statement All could be done with a video conference meeting. Complete waste of a very large amount of money. All this for Trump being on Canadian soil for about 24 hours. Just what was the point of this meeting anyway? Mark F 1

Just what was the point of this meeting anyway? It was probably pointless as far as Trump is concerned especially since he was late both days and left early. But I wouldn’t say there is nothing to be gained by having the leaders and their people in a room together. It’s something that will always happen. Now trump will go make a vile dictator a credible world leader for absolutely no reason other then to say he did it.

Mark F Posted June 10, 2018 Report Posted June 10, 2018 Not much doubt left, there's a seriously disturbed man running the U.S. Fatty Liver 1
SpeedFlex27 Posted June 10, 2018 Report Posted June 10, 2018 It may take awhile but all the stuff Trump has stirred up will come back against him. Bigly. I would say it's Trump who was meek & then became emboldened the minute he left & picked up his phone. Mark F 1
Zontar Posted June 10, 2018 Report Posted June 10, 2018 Ah, but you already knew all that going in Mr. President.

Regan on Libya and Carter on Iran. And now Trump on Canada. Ridiculous.

Brandon Posted June 11, 2018 Report Posted June 11, 2018 I was watching the news this morning and you know it's bad when Harper and Scheer both stand by Trudeau 100% and vocally support him.... has any US President been this despised by the Canadian Gov't? Yeah, but good for them. I am happy to see that. Doug Ford as well. Smart politically too. I think Bannatyne is right. Trump is doing what he's always done. also Quote Politico reports that Trump usually rips up papers when he’s done with them, and tosses them in the trash or on the floor — a process some people described as his “filing system.” This does not jibe with the Presidential Records Act, which stipulates that basically every piece of paper the president touches must be shipped off to the National Archives to be preserved for posterity. But instead of saying, “Mr. President, you need to stop tearing up these documents because it’s illegal, and also deeply weird,” White House staffers decided it was easier to collect the scraps of paper and have a whole team of government employees tape them back together. Solomon Lartey, a career records-management analyst who earned $65,969 a year, described the process to Politico: Staffers had the fragments of paper collected from the Oval Office as well as the private residence and send it over to records management across the street from the White House for Larkey and his colleagues to reassemble [sic]. “We got Scotch tape, the clear kind,” Lartey recalled in an interview. “You found pieces and taped them back together and then you gave it back to the supervisor.” The restored papers would then be sent to the National Archives to be properly filed away. Lartey said he spent the first five months of the Trump administration standing over a desk in the Old Executive Office Building, trying to piece Trump’s papers back together. One of his colleagues, Reginald Young Jr., confirmed that he and other career government officials were given this task. Lartey and Young said the practice was still going on this spring, when they were abruptly fired from their jobs with no explanation. amazingly, when the whole story comes out, it's going to be worse than what we already know. doesn't seem possible. The Unknown Poster Posted June 11, 2018 Report Posted June 11, 2018 It is quite bizarre how trump lies and bullies his allies while kissing up to Putin. Almost like they have something on him. Lol
do or die Posted June 11, 2018 Report Posted June 11, 2018 (edited) I used to feel some real angst, at the idea of Trump as leader of the "free world". Now it is clear that Trump does not want that particular job. Posted some time ago about the Donald essentially doing Putin's work for him. Well, if anything.....seems I grossly understated the matter. Given the completely useless and irrelevant state of the current Republican Party.....Trump should simply go ahead and complete America's isolation from the rest of the Western world....by forming a new world body, The D5. Yes the Dictator 5. Russia, North Korea, China, a minor tinpot dictator of Trump's choice, and the Don, himself. Trump could then be surrounded, and comforted by strong men.he truly admires.....he could then take the working title of "Fearless Leader", and with this rum group.....break new ground in judicial and law enforcement integrity, political co-operation, freedom of speech, trade ....and of course, human rights. Just think of those parades! Devin Nunes could take on the role of "Tattoo" Of course, Putin would actually be running that show, inside a week. Without a gun, or even taking off his shirt...... Thats actually an interesting concept. Im not sure Trump's advisers (the ones who arent in it with the Joker mentality of watching the world burn just for fun) would allow it. But you can certainly sense that Trump admires dictators (he has said as much) for the control and power they have over their nations. And he seems more inclined to have relationships with Russia, China, NK etc. I liked Harper's comments on FOX when he said he was pushing to kick Russia out of the G8 before Crimea because Putin's presence made it difficult to really discuss important matters because no one trusted him.

Zontar Posted June 11, 2018 Report Posted June 11, 2018 Silly, immature, out his depth Trudeau would rather virtue signal to the globalist, socialist, open border elites and be congratulated by a sympathic media hostile to Trump than use practicality and pragmatism to,hammer out a good deal for Canada and leave the "progressive" agenda for another day. Its as much ego, hubris, conceit as Trump supposedly has. But at least he puts his nation first An endorsement from business as usual neo con Harper does nothing. Two sides of the same coin.
