It exposes the trump supporters. Its like he said, he could shoot a guy in times square. And his supporters would blame the victim for ruining a good bullet. A comedy sketch, if it wasnt so achingly pathetic and real. One has nothing to do with the other. You're under the mistaken impression I support JT. I do not. But no matter how right wing I might be, racist divisive rhetoric and imbecilic buffoonery is a red line for my support. I cannot share White Nationalist values. Im sorry it's not the same for you. And if I DID support Trump, I would not be so blinded by my own obsession to think his remarks and those of his admin were reasonable. I'd think back to my Kindergarten education where we learned insults and bully tactics were rude and inappropriate. Trump might have missed kindergarten. And regardless of how much I dislike JT, I'd show some respect to the office he holds and accept the fact that his remarks were perfectly appropriate and every Canadian should be outraged that the US would invoke a national security lie that was only previously used against Libya and Iran. Whoops, there goes my common sense again.

Obama and Cuba, Obamas sweetheart deal with iran, bows to king of saudi arabia Funny, how moral outrage can be so selective. So are you saying that you will set a great example for everyone by expressing your outrage over Trump's dealings with NK? Or are you exhibiting selective moral outrage?

Its racist white nationalist supporters that are being selective by demanding outrage over Obama and praising Trump? Hypocrite much?

Im sorry you insist on only those two choices. Also, you didnt answer the question. Are you being a morally selective hypocrite or are you wildly outraged over Trump on NK?

I didn't claim I disliked one and loved the other. That would be the example I used to describe you. There is also a difference between talking tough and being an idiot. I generally like tough talk on vile dictators. Most Trump supporters are VERY defensive which is why they are unwilling to ever give an inch, even on racism. Sadly, it only emboldens the base. As for caring about NK, it doesnt impact my life. But as a human inhabitant of the Earth, I'd usually come down on the side of the people being starved, murdered and subjugated rather then the fat dicatator. Granted, I dont think about it very often. But when I do, that's usually a pretty easy choice. LOL Edited June 12, 2018 by The Unknown Poster
bustamente Posted June 12, 2018 Report Posted June 12, 2018 KJU got a lot done yesterday, Russia and China talking sanction reduction and SK and Japan less protected, and of course plenty of pictures with the old senile dotard that he scammed yesterday, NK will never get rid of their nukes, all they will say is they got rid of them and Trump will believe him because they trust each other. The only way Trump can bring someone to their knees is with a large cash payment in a truck stop mens room. The guy is a pansy of a leader, which is why he tries to chum around with dictators, he figures if he associates with these people then he'll be seen as strong too. The reality is that he's a blubbering weak fool that no one takes seriously.

Hard to believe people can be so invested in their own politics that it even Trumps common sense.

Mark F Posted June 13, 2018 Report Posted June 13, 2018 no consultation with military needed . Quote President Donald Trump's announcement Tuesday that he had agreed to cancel war games in Korea reportedly came as a shock to South Korea and U.S. military leaders. U.S. Forces in Korea "has received no updated guidance on execution or cessation of training exercises," said USFK spokeswoman Lieutenant Colonel Jennifer Lovett, Reuters reported. Lovett said, as of now, the U.S. military plans to "continue with our current military posture until we receive updated guidance" from the Department of Defense or Indo-Pacific Command. This includes the Ulchi Freedom Guardian joint military exercises scheduled for the fall. World's most powerful military, top level people who have trained for their entire careers to operate it. Trump, who ducked military draft, doesn't need any of them. USA being run by an impulsive person who makes decisions entirely on spur of the moment feelings, and thoughts about what will benefit him. This guy isn't going to jail, he's going for mandatory six months rest and recuperation at "Pink Mountain".
