Yeah, I don't normally like to think in terms of conspiracies but holy hell does the Epstein situation stink. Two guards fell asleep -and- the camera failed -and- Epstein was taken off suicide watch prior to his death? That's a lot of coincidental failures. On the other hand, a jailhouse assassination seems like a manageable scope and objective for a conspiracy. (unlike the harvesting of millions of votes from illegal immigrants, or the alt-physics that make steel beams immune to jet fuel fires) Just need the cooperation of a few people in the right places to pull it off. It definitely wouldn't be the first weird jailhouse assassination in NYC history. Edited October 31, 2019 by johnzo Mark F 1

Assassination of enemies is commonplace throughout the world, we are supposedly better than that, but we are not. If you have enough money and power, it's fine. See..... Kashoggi embassy murder. Quote the Saudis are back in good international standing, and it didn’t even take that long. At last year’s Future Investment Initiative conference (informally dubbed “Davos in the Desert”, much to the World Economic Forum’s chagrin) that took place less than a month after the killing, many international CEOs opted not to show up out of PR concerns but still sent their number 2’s, and business has continued as usual. While there were some awkward moments at the first G20 summit in Buenos Aires following the murder, by the time of this year’s G20 in Osaka, MbS had been welcomed back into the fold. For supporters of press freedom and human rights, that’s equal parts disturbing and disheartening. For most, it’s the world we live in. Edited October 31, 2019 by Mark F

Which is precisely the point . Todays vote was completely at odds with two major Dem/Media narratives. 1. Pelosi and media insist impeachmention isn't a partisan farce because at it's heart its really bipartisan and that's why Dems are going forward with it. " We have no other choice" . Eyeroll 2. There's large numbers of Republicans just waiting to show their opposition to Trump and believe in impeachment too. "Cracks" I believe was the trendy word. In other words just more progressive wish fulfilment and projection dressed up as facts. Edited November 1, 2019 by Zontar The Unknown Poster 1

Shouldn't everyone at the very least be skeptical? What secret testimonies? CLose door sessions? which are standard for these proceedings (see: gowdy and Benghazi)? Protocol established by republicans during the last impeachment? Career public servants = operatives? WHat rules were "mysteriously changed"? I am curious of where you are getting your information, they seem to leave out a lot of important stuff. 22 minutes ago, Zontar said: Yep, Metoo Congress Act enforced for the first time and it's a bi sexual Democrat woman. No wonder progressives are mad. its not like that staffer came forward and accused Hill of inappropriate sexual conduct... it was a political operative using revenge porn offered up by a jilted abusive ex-husband. There is a huge difference here. The relationship was inappropriate due to the whole power structure of their professional lives- but it was a consensual relationship. From what I gather the sexual /power dynamic of a superior over a subordinate in the workplace is a big part of it no matter if it was consensual. Pretty much sounds like this case
