Bernie has no shot.  And he delivers exactly what the gop wants.  The emotional would stop being about trump and all his wrong doings and would be all about socialism. Plus the fact the guy just had a heart attack.  No chance.  
 

Mayor Pete is the ideal outsider choice.   Warren is the ideal choice overall.

CIA Pete is not the outsider. After the collapse of Warren and now Biden hes the establishment choice by default now. Will be treated that way by media pending his own collapse.

Baffling he kept his job for this long. Hes a leaker not a "whistleblower". Circumvented chain of command in the plot to implicate his commander in chief. Like other deep staters they refuse to accept they are not the government, they do not set foreign policy .

I disagree- I think Bernie stands the best chance against trump. @17to85 nailed- the perfect counter to trumps **** is Bernie's no nonsense style, it's perfect. He will call him a liar to his face- mark it and it will be glorious to see trump sputter and make **** up while trying to process someone standing up to him in that way. 

Bernie's running mate might make or break his run against trump... 

Mayor Pete would get destroyed, trump would eat his lunch... he could never win.

Sanders still has to explain to his far left base, never mind the average voter, how open borders immigration driving down wages so his corporate donors have cheap labour makes him different than any of the neo liberal candidates who promise the same thing.

Bernie has the best shot. 

Now my personal favourite is Warren, but she's not going to win because Bernie is doing what she is better. Like I said, he's the perfect counter point to Trump. They can try and make it about socialism, but they'd do that with anyone. What Bernie does is he actually motivates his base to get out and support him. You get someone like Biden for example preaching status quo and working with republicans it will just turn off the progressive base. America needs a change of course to the left and nominating anyone who isn't fully on board with that is just playing into Trumps hands. Why vote for Republican lite?
