Blacks and Latins, whom the Democrats consider their base and therefore have to chase down and mobilize, have no use for it.

c'mon, give the Democrats a break, orchestrating a massive undetectable immigrant voting conspiracy is hard work!

With more details on insightful outreach policies, I'm sure...

Theres the broad public, national appeal then theres the dubious, slimy, street level, committee level politicking. Done by every party , every election.

As hard as running "sanctuary cities" and giving them health care and drivers licenses ?

Except... none of what You said above is true.

Aug, 2012.

An election year.

Danville, VA.

Vice President Joe Biden tells a black audience a Republican nominee would "put y'all back in chains".

that's exactly what we need in the USA -- fewer people with healthcare.  That covid-19 has to incubate somewhere!

Trump has already done his part to damage health care in the USA by firing the CDC pandemic response team, while his justice department argues hard in court that insurance companies should be allowed to discriminate against people with pre-existing conditions.

In fact, Trump's most recent budget proposal calls for further cuts to the CDC, and his budget director defended those today to Congress.  c'mon, dude.  learn to read a room.

Just left enough without the scolding cat lady spinster librarian vibe of Liz Warren.

People in Canada might not realize that in the USA. regulatory capture has led banks to pursue a wide range of unethical and criminal behaviors to keep the bottom line up and to the right.  Wells Fargo, one of the biggest banks here, has basically been Saul Goodman Financial for years, with billions in illegal profits.

Liz Warren has done way more than most to hold those criminals to account -- you can look it up -- and this is why wingers' talking points about her are so mean and sexist. Wingers love corrupt banks, or at least, they love carrying water for corrupt banks even as they shriek about evil globalists.  But I'm surprised to see you (Zontar) repeating that National Review talking points on Warren so uncritically, I didn't think you saw eye-to-eye with the neocons and the globalists.

So wrong and such an ignorant comment.

First of all... she is a dog person.

Second of all- she is married.

She was a professor, not a librarian.

And if she is scolding you... you probably deserve it.

As said before she lost because she ran a horrible campaign. Economic ideas could have gotten her traction but the decision to go youthful, full woke identity politics alienated key parts of the voter base she needed. Exit polls showed that.

Subjectively, she just wasnt likeable enough. Attacking Sanders and Bloomberg was supposed to help her instead it just entrenched peoples opinions of her.

Which is why I said vibe which isnt always an accurate reflection. Seen pictures of her when she was young. She was very attractive if that helps you.

Just freed up billions to address the virus. More than what was asked. Which any president would have done. To insinuate there is somehow less money to combat Wuhan is flat out dishonest.

Tonight, so far,  Sanders lost 3 states, including (for him) vital Michigan..and getting blown out in the process.   Losing Washington State, later.... would pretty well finish the job.

Would take a spectacular,  irreversible mistake or a debilitating health thing for Biden to change the trajectory

I was just pointing out how out to lunch that misogynistic comment of yours was. Should have known I was going to get a reply dismissing that chauvinistic "vibe".

The establishment pulled it off.

Looks like 4 more years of trump. awesome.

Sanders thought he was making inroads with the black vote in the Southern states - wrong.  There would be waves of new young voter support - wrong.  Couldn't make a dent in the Latino vote in Texas.  Even his union support in Michigan imploded.
Disastrous week for Bernie.  And that is understating the matter

He probably will hang in there, until next Tuesday - but with polls showing Biden to possibly sweep those primaries - the end is nigh.

Even among liberals, progressives, and leftists she never finished higher than third in any primary and lost her own state.  And you don't think there was a like ability factor ?

The above has nothing to do with what we were discussing- carry on.

Deck was being stacked against Bernie but....

He had more than enough money, well organized nation wide staff, pre established base to expand, 4 years to plan...

This is a monumental rejection of the far left.

Bernie will hang.... until next Tuesday and after the Sunday debate with Biden.  Last shot to put his policy priorities before a national audience and the Democratic party.
After that, the general hope is that he will exit gracefully, in the name of party unity.

Painting the Democrats as wide eyed leftists or crazed socialists just got much harder for the GOP.
