Trump's Interview With Axios's Jonathan Swan Was Frost/Nixon Mixed With Spinal Tap

What in the unshirted f**k was this country thinking in handing executive power over to this gruesome bag of old sins?

The subheading of this article is just the start for Charles Pierce,

https://www.esquire.com/news-politics/politics/a33509703/donald-trump-axios-jonathan-swan-interview-video/

Here is the full interview... it is worth the time.

I hope the next interviews with trump follow this template of actually pushing back to the **** that dribbles out of his mouth.

👁‍🗨 This just gets stupider and stupider...

The Trump administration wants the next round to include 377 million dollars so they can redecorate the West Wing of the White House. - Farron Cousins (The Ring of Fire)

👁‍🗨 Think about that one..

You have to ask yourself why would they renovate when they wont reside there come January, simple answer they aren't planning on leaving.

Jonathan Swan face during Trump interview on COVID shows how Americans feel

Usually when reporters interview President Trump they do their best to remain stonefaced.
HBO just aired an interview between Axios reporter Jonathan Swan and Trump, and

- Swan could not fix his face. It's very likely your social media is chockablock with photos of his reactions to Trump's wild claims, and the country is better for it.
- Swan could not fix his face when Trump lied about the US coronavirus testing capability.
-Swan could not fix his face when Trump claimed he "would've done something about" intel that Russia was paying the Taliban bounties to kill US soldiers but "it didn't reach" his desk.
- Swan could not fix his face when Trump told him: "I read a lot, I comprehend extraordinarily well, probably better than anyone you've interviewed."
- Swan could not fix his face as Trump discredited mail-in voting at the same time the Trump campaign is encouraging it.
- Swan tried every respectful way to get Trump to answer direct questions and stay on topic - to use reason. It was like herding cats, and seemed very exhausting, but it reflected the reality of Trump's disjointed thought patterns and inability to accept responsibility.

👁‍🗨 This is an interesting interview and, of course, doesn’t paint the fake president in a very good light. No interview he does would do that. It is long though, but the interesting thing is, Trump’s nose didn’t grow accordingly or else he easily would have fallen forward off his chair.

Bravo for the news that Neil Young is suing the orange gloop and the re-election campaign.

Neil Young is suing Donald Trump's re-election campaign for repeatedly using his music without his permission.

The Canadian has objected to the use of Rockin' in the Free World and Devil's Sidewalk for what he called an "un-American campaign of ignorance and hate".

It is just interesting to me how these politicians use these protest songs... Like do they not even pay attention to what's going on in the song? Or are they simply that superficial?

No. They are not self aware in the least.

Case on point.

Ah yes Paul Ryan. We have not forgotten about Paul Ryan. His name is on the list.

Springsteen has the same problem with Born in the USA.

You listen to the chorus, it's a big rah-rah USA USA USA! anthem, but you listen to the verse ... it's not that.

Him too, and all those republican voters who were appalled to learn that Willie Nelson was a bleeding heart liberal and wanted nothing to do with Republicans.

Surprise to no one right?

Lincoln Project Trolls GOP Senators With Biting Trump Impersonator Endorsements

The Lincoln Project ― a group of conservative never-Trumpers ― recruited comic J-L Cauvin, who is known for his uncanny presidential impersonation, to “endorse” senators Susan Collins (Maine) Dan Sullivan (Alaska) and Steve Daines (Montana), all up for reelection in November.

👁‍🗨 So well done..

'He makes dog-whistle calls to racists, science deniers, conspiracy theorists, the uninformed and those filled with arrogant hatred so often it is damn near impossible to keep up'. Brian Karem

George Conway, one of the leaders of the Lincoln Project, penned a recent opinion piece for The Washington Post in which he said of Trump: “For the sake of our constitutional republic, he must lose, and lose badly. Yet that should be just a start: We should only honor former presidents who uphold and sustain our nation’s enduring democratic values. There should be no schools, bridges or statues devoted to Trump. His name should live in infamy, and he should be remembered, if at all, for precisely what he was—not a president, but a blundering cheat.”

Only difference is that I find this guy....a bit more coherent.

It's telling the Lincoln Project had to go back a 150 years to find a decent Republican that they could use for their name. The whole GOP is poison, including the Lincoln Project.

Just wait till they set their sights on President elect Biden
