I can sort of give people a pass voting for Trump last time because maybe they thought he wouldn't be this way... but anyone who still supports him is a racist. There is literally no other reason to support him if you are outside the 1% who do it because it helps them loot the country. There are no lesser of two evils here, trump is orders of magnitude more evil than any other president that has existed. As is the current republican party.
Brandon Posted August 18, 2020 Report Posted August 18, 2020 I wouldn't accuse someone for being racist unless they did something racist themselves. The term is being thrown around way to liberally these days. It's watering down the real issues with racism when people keep abusing the word. If someone voted for Trump I would call them stupid because of the obvious many reasons.
17to85 Posted August 18, 2020 Report Posted August 18, 2020 Supporting racist people IS doing something racist. It really is a case of if you aren't denouncing racism you are enabling it. Tracker and JCon 1 1

No, but you condone and accept his behaviour. I guess it is more nuanced then that. If someone does something despicable, deplorable or what ever... and later recognizes that its is wrong, is apologetic and tries to make amends, then sure, I get what you are putting down... Now if there is no remorse, no recognition it is wrong, no apologies and double down and in fact repeat the behaviour over and over... and you continue to support that.... well then yeah your morals align with that person. There is nothing surprising about this. It plays right into Trump’s main talking points. The smug smirking teen gets to be the epitome of the “white victim of progressive minority favouritism who was slandered unfairly by the fake news media and persecuted by the enemy of the people, the lamestream left wing media. The gun toting couple are a shining example of 2nd Amendment rights standing up to the BLM thugs out to loot and destroy America, and are a symbol of the threat to suburban life in America if the police are defunded and these black protesters are allowed to run amok. Only Trump can protect these American patriots from the Socialist menace and Keep America Great.

I'm guessing every lady who purchased clothing from one of the many of Nygard brands automatically makes all those ladies pedophiles and rapists because they purchased and supported from a man who was openly known as being a pedo rapist. I guess we are all fans of slave labour by purchasing all of our goods from China and other third world countries... we knowingly buy all of these goods despite the fact they come from factories and workers that are paid terribly low and work in terrible conditions. For the folks who voted Obama, Bush Sr & Jr, Clinton etc.... I guess they are all child murderers because tonnes of innocent children (and adults) were slaughtered during the various wars out East for which any of those Presidents could of avoided. I guess every Catholic/religious person on here are clearly automatically Anti LGBT+ and Anti Abortion. Because it's not possible that some people can be religious and open minded at the same time. See how easy it is to accuse anyone of being something bad. It's fun to **** on Trump supporters I get it, but to call them a racist by default... that's just trying to hard to look cool. If you are going to say everyone who voted for him is a racist... then I guess that also makes you some sick demented human that loves to watch children get bombed, loves to work the less fortunate for pennies to enjoy your luxuries and possibly love to support Epstein-like people because you wanted to buy old women clothing for your mother. Trudeau is not my boy. Comparing his black/brown face episode to trumps raging on going racism and racist ideology is disingenuous.... If Trudeau doubled down and wore black face every week, without a hint of remorse and refused to admit it as being offensive.... Oh FFS, I reckon you didn't read my post dealing with this... Who said everyone who voted for Trump are voting purely for him and not for his political party? Well, the GOP are not the most inclusive party there is, he is the figure head of the party, he represents them and all the ugliness they hold... so in fact, yeah those that vote trump, with everything that has happened and everything we know now... you'd be supporting a racist... either party or potus. I'm guessing every lady who purchased clothing from one of the many of Nygard brands automatically makes all those ladies pedophiles and rapists because they purchased and supported from a man who was openly known as being a pedo rapist. Anyone who goes and purchases Nygaard clothing knowing what has transpired, yeah- you are supporting a pedo-rapst. Are they being a pedo-rapist... not if they haven't done the pedo-rapey thing. You're argument doesn't make sense here... I guess we are all fans of slave labour by purchasing all of our goods from China and other third world countries... we knowingly buy all of these goods despite the fact they come from factories and workers that are paid terribly low and work in terrible conditions. Yeah, we are, and it is a shameful stain and something needs to be done. For the folks who voted Obama, Bush Sr & Jr, Clinton etc.... I guess they are all child murderers because tonnes of innocent children (and adults) were slaughtered during the various wars out East for which any of those Presidents could of avoided. Yeah, once again- not the same argument. You are conflating systemic issues with a choice of not being racist. I guess every Catholic/religious person on here are clearly automatically Anti LGBT+ and Anti Abortion. Because it's not possible that some people can be religious and open minded at the same time. Yeah, once again- not the same argument. You are conflating systemic issues with a choice of not being racist. If you are religious and are not adhering to the faith of your choice, by being "open-minded", then you are not fully religious for that specific religion... you can't pick and choose what tenets of a faith your honour- and then claim you are a devout <insert religion>, can you? See how easy it is to accuse anyone of being something bad. If you are being disingenuous and make a shitty argument while conflating multiple topics... sure. You sure can. It's fun to **** on Trump supporters I get it, but to call them a racist by default... that's just trying to hard to look cool. It doesn't make you one of the cool kids, dunking on trump and those that support him- given everything that has come to light and everything that hasn't but have been hinted at... but it does re-affirm that you have a decent moral compass. Yeah... no, it really doesn't. There is a ****-tonne of whataboutism here in defense of racists... I don't get it man... I guess we all have to pour our energy into something. SpeedFlex27 Posted August 19, 2020 Report Posted August 19, 2020 (edited) But the fool on the hill Sees the sun going down And the eyes in his head Sees the world spinning round Round & round & round & round & round... This current discussion about supporting Trump & racism... is like a page long & nothing new is being said now except the same old arguments again & again by everyone on both sides. Insulting Brandon & labeling him a racist when none of you here know the man in person to be able to say that is the truth ot not is both unfair & wrong. And Brandon, you have no chance to win this argument so why dissect every post like it's your last ever? Just ignore, walk away & live to fight another day. You made your point so be done with it. You won't convince or change anyone's mind over to your position. Just like the others here won't convince you or change your mind, either. How much longer is this so called "discussion" going to go on??? How many more of the same tired & lame points need to be made over & over as well as round & round & round & round & round... by everyone? Yes, I realize the irony of me being the last guy to lecture anyone on etiquette, behaviour or decorum here as I can be quite opinionated myself but c'mon guys. This discussion is going absolutely nowhere. Edited August 19, 2020 by SpeedFlex27 Tracker 1
Mr Dee Posted August 19, 2020 Report Posted August 19, 2020 Republicans bailing on the current administration.
SpeedFlex27 Posted August 19, 2020 Report Posted August 19, 2020 (edited) And the progressive left of the Democratic Party are upset so many Republicans are allowed to speak at the convention like John McCain's wife, Kasich & Powell. Meanwhile not realizing that is how you win elections by expanding your base & appealing to Independents & disaffected Republicans who hate Trump & may sit out this election. I swear most of these so called progressives aren't very smart. They haven't clued into that concept yet because most of them are so young their mothers still help them blow their nose & tie their shoes. One progressive female Democrat in her 30's actually said to another older white commentator in his 50's or 60's when they were both guests on CNN last night when asked to give his take on the convention Day 2 she interjected, "All due respect but the future of the Democratic Party is people like me. Not old white guys like you". No, there was no respect there at all so why even say it? Just this sense of entitlement that progressives have hijacked the party & it's theirs now. So anyone that's over 45 get the hell out & leave as we don't want you anymore. So much for a party that is for everyone. Edited August 19, 2020 by SpeedFlex27
Mr Dee Posted August 19, 2020 Report Posted August 19, 2020 Just 6 of Trump's top 38 donors have given to his 2020 reelection bidPresident Donald Trump is failing to attract millionaire and billionaire mega-donors who've given to him in the past, according to a New York Times report. Meanwhile, Joe Biden, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, has raked in massive sums from mega-donors. Pro-Biden super PACs have gathered a combined $45 million in dark money so far this cycle, Business Insider reported on Monday. https://apple.news/AQenPop7PRxirEsQw4zmN5w
