Apparently the US Secret Service is going to be weeded out as soon as Biden is in the saddle. There are about 300 Secret Service agents and some are loyal to Trump to the extent where they were not wearing masks and trying to convince/pressure other agents to not wear masks so as to not make Trump look bad. I would think that there is going to be a lot blood letting in Washington in about three weeks.

Rep. Gohmert Calls for Street Violence as Another Legal Loss Sends MAGA World Spiraling.

“In effect, the [court] ruling would be that you gotta go the streets and be as violent as Antifa and BLM,” Gohmert, a former judge, said.
Far-right conspiracy theorists and ultra conservative members of the GOP—who have less and less daylight between them as the days go by—have gone into collective meltdown mode, apparently triggered, at least in part, by calls for violence by Congressman Louie Gohmert (R-TX) and Trump-allied lawyer L. Lin Wood.

On Friday, U.S. District Court Judge Jeremy Kernodle, who was appointed by President Donald Trump, dismissed a hail-mary lawsuit filed by Gohmert and 11 Arizona Republicans that attempted to give Vice President Mike Pence the ability to overturn the results of the November presidential election won by Joe Biden.

As the president of the Senate, Pence will preside over the ceremonial counting of the Electoral College votes, which have already certified Biden as the clear winner, on Wednesday.

In an interview Friday evening on pro-Trump news network Newsmax, Gohmert falsely claimed that letting the will of the voters stand would “mean the end of our republic, the end of the experiment in self-government."

Gohmert then seemed to encourage violence as a means to this end. “But bottom line is, the court is saying, ‘We’re not going to touch this. You have no remedy’—basically, in effect, the ruling would be that you gotta go the streets and be as violent as Antifa and BLM.”

The funny thing is, there is no reason for anybody else to be there.
The Proud Goys will alter their look Monday by dressing more in black, with no yellow trimming and moving in smaller numbers. They are definitely looking for trouble.
It seems to me if most normal people just stayed away from this rally, all these violence-seekers can only fight among themselves.
And the authorities.
And that would be just fine.
All dressed up...and nothing to do.

Washington DC has strict firearm regulations and they are not easy to obtain, even for residents.

Don’t bring your weapons!

Hard to believe a) that Trump supporters follow the rule of law and b) would have a hard time getting guns in Washington and c) they would be loathe to resort to violence

Imagine if all these Republicans would have fought as hard to keep Americans healthy as they are licking Trumps boots, pure and simple show some evidence of voter fraud or resign

The GOP, as currently constituted and inhabited has passed the point of redemption and McConnell/Cruz/Gaetz bloc and they will not go quietly into the night. Once a limb is too infected, amputation is the only viable option.

Oh FFS,

"The Presidential Medal of Freedom is an award ... to recognize people who have made "an especially meritorious contribution to the security or national interests of the United States, world peace, cultural or other significant public or private endeavors."

No mention of sucking up, syncophantic behaviour, treason or cows...

10 former Pentagon chiefs issue extraordinary warning to Trump. Former defence secretaries question Trump's willingness to peacefully relinquish power

In an extraordinary rebuke of U.S. President Donald Trump, all 10 living former secretaries of defence are cautioning against any move to involve the military in pursuing claims of election fraud, arguing that it would take the country into "dangerous, unlawful and unconstitutional territory."

The 10 men, both Democrats and Republicans, signed on to an opinion article published Sunday in The Washington Post that implicitly questioned Trump's willingness to follow his constitutional duty to peacefully relinquish power on Jan. 20. Following the Nov. 3 election and subsequent recounts in some states, as well as unsuccessful court challenges, the outcome is clear, they wrote, while not specifying Trump in the article.

"The time for questioning the results has passed; the time for the formal counting of the electoral college votes, as prescribed in the constitution and statute, has arrived," they wrote.

(If anyone has any doubt remaining about Trump's willingness to use the US military in a coup, these people do not)

Wednesday's going to be a rough day for Trump and his MAGAt Qcumber cosplaytriots.
