In Oklahoma, Republican Gov. Kevin Stitt is calling for the "immediate resignation" of four McCurtain County officials in response to a damning report by the McCurtain Gazette-News — which alleges that it has obtained an audio recording in which the officials, during a March 6 meeting, can be heard making racist remarks and calling for violence against Gazzette-News reporter Chris Willingham.

The officials Stitt mentioned by name are McCurtain County Sheriff Kevin Clardy, District 2 Commissioner Mark Jennings, Investigator Alicia Manning, and Jail Administrator Larry Hendrix.
In a statement on Sunday, April 16, Stitt said, "I am both appalled and disheartened to hear of the horrid comments made by officials in McCurtain County. There is simply no place for such hateful rhetoric in the state of Oklahoma, especially by those that serve to represent the community through their respective office. I will not stand idly by while this takes place."

According to the Gazzette-News, copies of the recording have been given to the FBI and the Oklahoma Attorney General's Office.

The Oklahoman's Josh Dulaney, in an article published on April 16, reports, "A portion of the audio recordings were released online over the weekend."

During the March 6 conversation, according to Dulaney, Manning is heard "saying she needed to take some packages to a shipping center near the newspaper’s office."

"(Manning) expressed concern about what could happen if Willingham walked out of the newspaper’s office, according to the (Gazzette-News)…. Willingham, that day, had filed a defamation lawsuit against the (McCurtain County) Sheriff’s Office, Manning and the Board of County Commissioners."

During the conversation, according to Dulaney, Manning allegedly told the other officials, "I ain’t worried about what he’s gonna do to me. I’m worried about what I might do to him. My papaw would have whipped his a**, would have wiped him and used him for toilet paper."

Jennings allegedly said, in response, "I know where two big, deep holes are here if you ever need them." And Clardy allegedly said, "I've got an excavator."

During the conversation, Jennings allegedly condoned lynching Blacks, saying, "Take them down to Mud Creek and hang them up with damned rope. But you can’t do that anymore. They've got more rights than we’ve got."

Reporter checked with legal sources before doing it. They conducted business, which is part of the open gov't rules down in Oklahoma and got caught.

New reporting revealed Tuesday that Kent Stermon’s suicide came shortly after he was accused of sexual misconduct with an underage teen. Stermon —a staunch DeSantis ally and GOP donor—was found dead in December just shortly after the girl’s father declined a “five-figure” hush money deal and reported Stermon to the police, the Daily Mail reported. Jacksonville police say the investigation is still ongoing, but Stermon allegedly had an inappropriate relationship with an underage girl, to whom he offered Taylor Swift concert tickets in exchange for photos of her breasts. An anonymous law enforcement source told the Daily Mail that this might have just been the tip of the iceberg, though. “Very possibly it was the start of the rope that would unravel. It is the possibility of exposing what might have happened when the girl was a minor in their acquaintance,” the source said. Stermon’s influence in Florida’s Republican Party was vast, with him largely being credited for Ron DeSantis’ recent political success. “Kent was very influential,” Florida politics reporter A.G. Gancarski told First Coast News following his death. “You wouldn’t have Ron DeSantis as governor without Kent Stermon.”

Georgia fake elector strikes immunity deal with prosecutors

It was revealed today that there is an ongoing debate about removing a lawyer for some of the fake electors in the Georgia case. None of the fake electors have been charged with a crime. But it appears there is an ongoing fear that charges are coming from the grand jury and Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis.

Buried in the stories about the legal drama unfolding in Georgia was the revelation that one of those fake electors had made a deal with the prosecutors.
According to the New York Times report, "At least one of the electors not represented by Ms. [Kimberly B.] Debrow or Ms. [Holly] Pierson has an immunity deal in place and has cooperated with the prosecution, people with knowledge of the case have said."

It goes on to say that Willis' new motion asking for the removal of Debrow comes as others are desperately trying to get their own immunity deals.

"According to a legal analysis by the Brookings Institution, the fake electors could potentially face criminal liability for interfering with elections, among other charges," the report explained.

Local Atlanta station WXIA explained that the fake electors that once shared lawyers and were a united front, are now turning on each other.

Unfortunate about the suicide.

We do though need a lot more of this declining hush money to expose bad behaviours.

Makes no difference to me who these people who do bad things support politically. What matters is bad behaviours and bad choices must come with consequences no matter who you are.

Declining a huge wack of money to stop someone from escaping consequences for their bad behaviours requires a lot of courage, morality and conviction to the person who was wronged.

This is kind hilarious, in a pathetic way. Lindell offered $5 million to anyone at his cyber-symposium who could disprove his election fraud claims and someone took him up on it. Proved that Lindell’s data was total nonsense, and then demanded payment. The courts just upheld this as a valid contract and ordered Lindell to pay.

In a recent court decision, it was determined that a plaintiff DID, in fact, prove that there was no election fraud beyond doubt and Lindell has been ordered to pay the $5 million dollars. No doubt an appeal is pending.
