He’s got a draft declaration of emergency and money to build the wall. What emergency eh?

and then responds to Ross saying federal workers should just take out a loan by suggesting grocery stores will work with people  ie you can get food and pay later?  Has this idiot ever bought anything?

Ross didn’t understand why everyone doesn’t just get a loan.  So people should pay interest on their own salary?

These people are rich out of touch morons.

On Thursday, CNN reported that the White House is preparing a draft order for President Donald Trump to declare a national emergency along the southern border, divert $7 billion from the Treasury, Pentagon, and Department of Homeland Security, and direct the Army Corps of Engineers to construct a border wall on seized private land:

The massive amount of aliens who unlawfully enter the United States each day is a direct threat to the safety and security of our nation and constitutes a national emergency,” a draft of a presidential proclamation reads.

“Now, therefore, I, Donald J. Trump, by the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, including the National Emergencies Act (50 U.S.C 1601, et seq.), hereby declare that a national emergency exists at the southern border of the United States,” the draft adds.

The news came just after the Senate shot down by 50-47 Trump’s proposal to reopen the government, appropriate $5.7 billion for the wall, ban asylum claims at the border, and sharply limit eligibility for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) and temporary protected status (TPS) while extending the programs for three years. Trump attempted to bill this as a “compromise,” but it was, in fact, a right-wing fever dream.

So Trump might get his wall (barring legal challenges) and not have to give up anything in return, not a very good deal for the Democrats. This is make or break for Pelosi, probably time from some new blood in there anyways.

Trump proposed taking money from Puerto Rico aid, the military budget and environmental departments. This will not sit well with many.

As opposed to what? what was she going to get in any of those Republican bills? Concede defeat. Get bullied around. gift trump a political monument, which is like a racists Field of Dreams for deplorables, where you replace Costner with trump?

instead she took the calculated position to force trump to unilaterally move to build his wall, circumvent due process and be challenged in court.

What would you have done?

Which group would you have sided with?

A big one

(CNN) — Roger Stone has been indicted by a grand jury on charges brought by special counsel Robert Mueller, who alleges that the longtime Donald Trump associate sought stolen emails from WikiLeaks that could damage Trump's opponents at the direction of "a senior Trump Campaign official."

The indictment's wording does not say who on the campaign knew about Stone's quest, but makes clear it was multiple people. This is the first time prosecutors have alleged they know of additional people close to the President who worked with Stone as he sought out WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange.

The associate and the high-ranking campaign official are not named in the complaint, though the indictment describes how Stone told a reporter that what Assange had in the unreleased emails was good for the Trump campaign. Stone responded at the time, "I'd tell [the high-ranking Trump Campaign official] but he doesn't call me back."

An email matching that wording that was published by The New York Times shows that the official Stone referred to was Steve Bannon.

The indictment also alleges that Stone lied to Congress about "his communications with the Trump Campaign about Organization 1." In the indictment, Organization 1 is WikiLeaks.

Stone was also indicted on a witness tampering charge for his alleged attempts to sway radio host Randy Credico's story before he testified to Congress — even tapping into language from mob movies and citing disgraced President Richard Nixon, who Stone once worked for.

Over text message, Stone told Credico, "'Stonewall it. Plead the fifth. Anything to save the plan' ... Richard Nixon," prosecutors said. Stone warned Credico he would get "indicted for perjury" because he could contradict Stone's testimony. "And if you turned over anything to the FBI you're a fool," Stone told Credico later via text.

Multiple times, Stone told him to do a "Frank Pentangeli," a reference to a "The Godfather: Part II" character who feigned innocence to Congress.
He also called him "a rat" and a "stoolie," prosecutors say. He threatened to take away Credico's dog — a fluffy white therapy pet named Bianca who even later went with Credico into his grand jury appearance — and told him "Prepare to die [expletive]," prosecutors wrote.

Only a trump supporter would think Pelosi is doing a bad job. Hahaha.  Forcing trump to declare an emergency is such a bad look for him.

Oh well. Nothing to see here. No news today. Lol

Is mueller hinting that trump ordered Bannon to direct Stone on the wiki leaks stuff?

Edit: yes I guess so

And ofcourse a tweet. A month ago from a clearly petrified trump sending stone an important message.

Stone was Trump's oldest advisor and mentor.   Cohen was Trump's legal fixer for more than a decade.  Manifort, Gates, and Flynn, occupied key roles, in Trump's campaign.

The only "rogues" in this sadly tale......are the ones Trump surrounded himself with.   Trump stated that "I only hire the best people"    For him.

CNN reports this morning, that a unnamed White House staffer was caught on tape, littering on the South Lawn.   Indications are that balled up paper and cigarette butts may of been employed.

Sara Sanders:   "This has nothing to do with the President.  The President did nothing wrong.  There was no collusion."
BreItbart web page headlines:  "DEEP STATE FAIL!! NO COLLUSION!! TRUMP EXONERATED!! FAKE NEWS!! GESTAPO TACTICS!!

She sure wanted to avoid going to bat for Trump this morning didnt she?  Even a weasel like Sander's is thinking about her own future.  Maybe one day she will find the last shred of personal pride buried deep down inside and stop claiming his lies are facts.

Should be funny to watch the last few rats start jumping off the ship.

What happens first, Stone flips or Trump throws him under the bus, ensuring he flips?

Mueller's plan is starting to come into focus.  He's been slowly tightening the noose.  If they indict Bannon (and he seems ripe for it), Don Jr...maybe Kushner, he's basically getting everyone right up to Trump's bedroom door.  Assuming Mueller wont try to indict Trump, his report will likely make the case that Trump should be indicted and leave it in the hands of the DOJ to decide if they want to do that, Congress to impeach...or nab Trump when he's out of office.

I wonder if Mueller would try a sealed indictment on Trump...can you imagine the day he leaves office, the FBI swarms and takes him into custody?

From the Stone indictment:

On multiple occasions, including on or about December 1, 2017, STONE told Person 2 that Person 2 should do a “Frank Pentangeli” before HPSCI in order to avoid contradicting STONE’s testimony.

LOL

Of course the next question is.....did Person 2 have contact with......Individual 1

Thats the key.  I mean, are we to believe Trump was so stupid that all the people around him were conspiring but he had no idea?  Especially when things he did and said lined up with key moments in the conspiracy?   The question is, how good of a mafia boss was he, did he insulate himself enough?

What Mueller seems to be doing is building up the chain where each fish can flip and incriminating the bigger fish above and so on and so on until really, you might be left with the kids...and will the kids turn on their dad?  Will Trump let the kids go on trial to save him?

I am convinced that "pigseye" is a bot, meant to spam people, giving the selective cherry-picking of facts, willful ignorance of countering facts and information, and blatant one-sided propaganda in simple one sentence blurbs. This reads like the Twitter nonsense from the so called "silent majority". Perhaps the mods should remove this Russian trolling machine lest it corrupt the site with a virus.

Random thoughts:

-Trump has been strangely very quiet and twitter-free for the last 12 hours. Can't wait for that dam to break. Whatever your political bent or personal views, it is always "entertaining" when he tweets and the responses it generates.

-So, who is next on the indictment list? Bannon now seems squarely in the crosshairs, but what of Kushner and Don Jr.? Is Kellyanne just a lackey mouthpiece, or was she part of the mechanism? And does Ivanka get a pass? Given daddy's very creepy praise of her, I wonder if she's the one person he wouldn't throw under the bus and would sacrifice himself for? And, top dawg aside, does anyone have any personal "favorites" they'd like to see get arrested, for simply schadenfraude purposes?

-What's the next diversionary tactic, as asked before? Declaring an emergency to get wall funding would be a "win" for Donald in that he didn't back down and keeps his key campaign promise (notwithstanding those pesky "legal challenges", which will likely take away this avenue but let Trump play victim and save face with his base rather than caving), but I think he's more about chaos to deflect, rather than solutions, so he likes the shutdown noise and will keep it up, and scream about another deadly caravan coming our way, is my bet.

-Finally, let's just assume for a second Trump himself never colluded and he is telling the truth the whole time. The fact that pretty much  every person in his political campaign orbit has been indicted or implicated would mean that, if he wasn't involved, then he is the biggest stooge in history and has been played like a fiddle by those who put him in power to advance their own criminal agenda, and he was too blind and stupid to even see it happening. Is that possibility even more embarrassing to this egomaniac than being caught as the ringleader? Remember how he bristled when Hillary called him a "puppet" in the debates? I would love to see someone in the media take this slant with him and poke the bear with "too dumb to realize he was just a pawn in someone else's master plan", I don't think he could leave that accusation alone and would put his head further in the noose.  (Like Sideshow Bob incriminating himself when an 8 year old Lisa said he wasn't smart enough to pull off election fraud himself and was just a stooge for others, causing his ego to break and out himself as the mastermind - yes, I just equated the President to a cartoon villain on the Simpsons - the world we live in)
