Trump's the one with the knee on the neck of America and the GOP senators are the ones watching, standing around, aiding and abetting. Being an anti-trump Republican is not likely to get them enough votes to beat a Dem. It will come down to individual areas. If a GOP person is largely popular but Trumps is a drag, then sure, they can torch Trump and try to win. Those would be Democrat longshots either way. But the GOP allowed this to happen. And I think they're beginning to see the future of a party that has to either get pulled all the way to fascism or re-invent itself as the moderate conservative movement. Wasnt it Graham who said before the last election "If we nominate Trump, it will destroy us and we'll deserve it." Yup. Tracker
Cop Kills 22-Year-Old on His Knees After Mistaking His Hammer for a Gun: Chief A police officer in Vallejo, California, shot and killed 22-year-old Sean Monterrosa early Tuesday morning after mistaking a hammer in his pocket for a gun, the city’s police chief said Thursday. Monterrosa was on his knees when the unnamed officer, who told authorities he believed Monterrosa to be armed with a gun, fired at him five times through his car windshield. Monterrosa had a hammer, not a gun, in his pocket. https://www.thedailybeast.com/cop-kills-22-year-old-sean-monterrosa-on-his-knees-after-mistaking-his-hammer-for-a-gun?ref=home (Whatever happened to "serve and protect?) Mr Dee
Missing alert. Has not been seen, nor heard from in quite some time. Last seen being manhandled and kicked around by the GOP in power in the US. No one in that circle of jerks seem to recall anything about it. Missing - Integrity The search is ongoing. do or die
Watching the Republican party ......reminds me of the 1937 conference of the Communist Party in the Soviet Union, during a round of applause to honor Joseph Stalin Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn described the surreal scene in The Gulag Archipelago: “The applause went on—six, seven, eight minutes! They were done for! Their goose was cooked! They couldn’t stop now till they collapsed with heart attacks! At the rear of the hall, which was crowded, they could of course cheat a bit, clap less frequently, less vigorously, not so eagerly…Nine minutes! Ten!…Insanity! To the last man! With make-believe enthusiasm on their faces, looking at each other with faint hope, the district leaders were just going to go on and on applauding till they fell where they stood, till they were carried out of the hall on stretchers.” At last, after eleven minutes of non-stop clapping, the director of a paper factory finally decided enough was enough. He stopped clapping and sat down—a miracle! “To a man, everyone else stopped dead and sat down.” That same night, the director of the paper factory was arrested and sent to prison for ten years. Authorities came up with some official reason for his sentence, but during his interrogation, he was told: “Don’t ever be the first to stop applauding!” Floyd

Like he should have said something long ago. And where was she to speak to these "overdue" comments all this time? Especially when she had the chance at the impeachment to send that "necessary" message herself. Do or Die's point about "never be the first to stop applauding" is bang on here. 2 hours ago, bustamente said: A little to late there Chucky baby, go have a nap you senile old fool But on the bright side, Mattis' rebuke of the Donald may have cracked open the floodgates. It was speculated on CNN that him taking that first step (which is much easier for him since he already quit and had nothing to lose from Trump) would open the doors for other military personnel (like Esper, who already followed the lead) to defy Trump and hopefully refuse to follow any orders to "dominate" civilians. Looks like that turncoat turning of the tide will now extend to the Republican senate. Can't wait for the biggest lackeys like Gaetz, Cruz, Graham and McConnell to cut bait and get all self-righteous against Trump to try and save their own political skin. That will be rich.
